the location
it was very disappointing- we booked well in advanced as part of a long awaited trip to Scotland - staff we friendly but they didn’t have all meals as advertised and we ended up with a table looking at a wall instead of the view - they new we were from overseas and celebrating a birthday - next time we won’t believe the info on social media

Für uns war es sehr praktisch, das man eine eigene kleine Küche in dem Apartment hat. Auch hat man einen tollen Blick auf den See. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmer waren leider nur oberflächlich sauber. Wenn man genauer hingeschaut hat war es in vielen Ecken schmutzig und es lagen viele Haare der vorherigen Bewohner rum. Auch hatten wir direkt angrenzend an unser Appartement Hühner inkl. Hahn, welcher ab 5 Uhr morgens in Dauerschleife gekräht hat

Lovely Inn on the banks of Loch Awe. Friendly warm welcome after a day of travelling. Staff are lovely, helpful and cheery. The food was tasty and fresh and the room comfortable and quiet.

Sky window 1 chair no toilet roll holder heated towel rail did not work . No place to hang towels.

The hotel was lovely looking from the outside and the inside very cosy and comfortable dining area. The surrounding area was so beautiful– perfect for leisurely walks and just taking in nature. Super helpful and pleasant staff.

The self-catering apartment was lovely and a good size for my brother and me. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offered us fresh milk or juice for the room each evening to use in the morning. Great location overlooking Loch Awe.
The sofa pull-out bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but I still got a good night’s sleep.

Dinner menu not too my personal taste, but the lovely head of hospitality and chef made a plan to cater for me and related allergies. Hugely appreciated.
A lamp (wall light) and shelf for charging phone, beside the sofa bed and sockets would enhance the additional guest comfort.
The table and chairs from adjoining cabin obstructed the view from the sofa in my cabin.
Both green dining chairs were stained beyond redemption.

Nice quiet inn in lovely location. Staff were friendly enough and the bar/restaurant area had a variety of seating areas which was great to relax. The room was very spacious. Breakfast was made using quality local produce.
The room and bathroom had a few scuffs and generally could do with some TLC. The room was described as offering free toiletries but the reality did not meet expectation, and luckily we had brought our own. The room had some impracticalities such as no plug socket near a mirror to use the hairdryer, and the small tv was so far away from the bed that we had to watch using our glasses. Breakfast was £15pp per day which we felt was quite alot. The size was also too much for us and so we only had it for one day.

We thought the room was a little sparse, comfortable enough but it didn't really tell a story of the beauty of the local area. The food on the evening was a little expensive for the quality.
We were disturbed during the night by what we assumed was a fellow guest, who had tried to get into our room by mistake, which we couldn't tell anyone about until the next morning as there was no phone in the room and we hadn't been given any number we could contact if we needed help.

The self-catered apartment was perfect for our needs and had a nice view down to the loch. We had dinner in the restaurant/bar and we were blown away by the food. It was really good and prompted us to eat there again the following evening to try more of the menu!
