The hosts are lovely, attentive to their guests, and the breakfast was fantastic! A very homely atmosphere with everything you need for a cozy night's sleep. The shower was nice and hot, the room was cozy and warm with ample bedding for a cold November night.

The guest house was perfectly located for our stay and the owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Also the breakfast was first class and looked just like the photo on their website. Another big advantage with the Arkaig is that they have plenty of private parking available in what is a busy part of the city We will definitely return when next in Aberdeen if they have rooms available.

Our room was at the front of the property on a busy main road. We would have liked there to have been some nets up at our windows, to give us privacy during the daylight hours.

Amazing from the moment we stepped through the door, amazing hosts so friendly . Made us feel at ease. Rooms were fab, lovely and clean. Breakfasts were spot on. Lovely food and cooked just right.

Genuinely a home from home; the hosts could not do enough for you. Spotlessly clean room, comfy bed and really dark for a great night's sleep. Huge modern bathroom. Freshly cooked to order breakfast was an especially nice touch with a multitude of other breakfast options available if desired. Off street parking available was an added bonus..

We were welcomed by the owners, Evelyn & Charlie, with the warmest of welcomes. The room was very clean and comfortable. And although situated on a main road, good windows kept the room nice and quiet. Breakfast was simply amazing. Cereals with fruits, yoghurts and juices. And a full breakfast to follow. Absolutely excellent. Arkaig also has the benefit of private parking spaces in the street around the back. It is then about a one minute walk to the front door. Perfect. Although we only stayed for one night. We cannot rate the Arkaig highly enough. And when we are in Aberdeen again, we will definitely stay here. A great find, and an absolute hidden gem. Thanks so much to Evelyn & Charlie for their lovely, friendly hospitality. We will definitely be back.

The building is lovely. The owners are very kind. There’s a bus stop that is very convenient. The breakfast is very good. It was a lovely stay.

Evelyn and Charlie perfect hosts situated for a 20minutes walk in to the city. Rang day before to say arriving early could we leave are gear so to get a good afternoon early evening in the city.Arrived and had got are room ready +let us park motorcycle in there garage top breakfast
