The magnificent castle was like a trip back in time, the facilities exceptional and the grounds just beautiful!
one improvement recommended- toilet paper and tissues were sub-standard.

the history of the castle and the gardens
it was very small details noticed that took the shine off such a fine establishment and I understand it is due to lack of staff or staff not trained properly.

Very nice hotel, peaceful with great areas for relaxing. Grounds good for short walks. Walled garden very impressive. All staff very helpful. friendly and naturally good to talk with. Restraunt excellent for breakfast and dinner.
All good perhaps the bathroom needs some upgrades. Taps , shower, shower valve.

Utterly incredible! It was my bucket list item to stay in a castle type building when in Ireland, and Lough Rynn delivered! The staff were wonderful, 5 star treatment and facilities, Anissa at reception was particularly helpful even before we arrived. Anissa also upgraded half our group to a deluxe room which was very special and lovely!
Beds extremely comfortable, clean, stunning location. Great breakfast. Best accomodation in Ireland. Thank you!

Amazing picturesque hotel with fabulous gardens. The Kayak experience was amazing also. Food was superb.
Unfortunately, due I'd assume to staffing and also covid restrictions, it was very difficult to get served at the bar. There was a wedding on during our stay which I think preoccupied a lot of staff. Waited quite a while to be served.

Beautiful gardens and lovely setting. Ate in the bar. Was very reasonably priced and delicious. Room very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served quickly and delicious also

we had an amazing stay.we were treated so well from we arrived until we left. our room was beautiful with a lovely big bathroom. both breakfast and dinner were delicious. staff were really attentive and lovely. the location was great, so peaceful with an amazing walled garden and gorgeous view of the lough.

The bedroom and bathroom with two connecting rooms, very novel! A selection of pillow types also novel and much valued 😄
Apart from a musty, damp smell in The Manager’s House, it was all very good!
Also some correction of typos would be nice 😆

Loved the hotel and the grounds were the most spectacular,so well cared for .
On our first night we stayed in the Gamekeepers House and we were disappointed it was a bit up the road from main building … not so bad on a dry evening but not great in torrential rain
Second night we stayed in the main house and the room was amazing

Everything. And everyone - the staff were all helpful, friendly and kind, particularly Katie who was brilliant throughout our stay.
The entire place was amazing, the grounds of the castle are fabulous and our room was spacious and comfortable. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed in!
