Good location for the train station.

Very hard beds, difficult to get into one of them. Shower was difficult to use and flooded the bathroom.

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk, ook in het bij het hotel behorende cafe/ restaurant. En dat gaat al om 6 uur open, handig voor treinreizigers die vroeg op pad moeten

Geen tegenvallers!

Noisy outside in front of the hotel most of the night.

The hotel is just a short walk to the French border and the Hendaia railway station that took me back to Paris, Here on a Monday and a lot of the nearby restaurants were closed! Luckily the hotel's own restaurant is more than adequate and the staff are charming. The beds were comfortable and there was an enormous fan to cool you down. If you're travelling by train the nearest station is Ficoba-Irun and not Hendaye/Hendaia - that's across the border in France. Oh, the room had a weird strip of LED lights on the ceiling that can change colour - not sure why. Similarly the shower rose is illuminated (???)

Should have realised from the map that the railway runs at the back of the hotel. The last train at night is at about 23:30 and the first in the morning about 06:30 - you have been warned! Oh, did I tell you they sound the train hooter as they approach Ficoba-Irun? Well they do. Not even the double glazing can keep that out but, hey, you're not going to be there forever are you? But it did make for a very tiring journey the next day back to Paris and on to London.
