Our room in the main building was big and comfortable and most of the time very quiet. Air conditioner worked nicely. Safe with light in the room. Staff was very friendly. Dinner was very good, and the prices worth it. Self-made cakes were really good. Location was great, at least when you have bicycles. Just across the street was a nice and small place where you can enter the lake and bath. Nice hotel, building, garden, and the bungalows.

There was sometimes noise in our room coming from the room below, which was probably the kitchen. But during sleeping hours it was very calm. The breakfast was below expectations but still okay. No fresh buns, no fresh vegetables, no fruit salad, though there were some fruit. Less options for vegetarians. The eggs (boiled, scrambled, sunny side up) were not delicious. There was no soap in the bathroom. There were only two very small bottles of soap for showering but they were empty after a day and were not replaced for another two days. The refrigerator got not really cold. No plastic bags in the bins. Pillows were not comfortable. It was hard to regulate the water temperature. TV screen could have been larger. Wifi was good, but it was a little annoying that you had to enter the login details everytime again. Main criticism: Corona rules were only partly followed. There were always people that did not wear a mask during breakfast at the buffet. Sometimes they were asked to wear one by the staff, sometimes not. In the corridors inside, most people didn´t wear masks and were not asked by the staff to do so, e.g., by the manager. When I checked in and the manager showed me our room, two people without wearing a mask were passing by and the manager did not make an attempt to ask for masks, she didn’t wear a mask herself during our complete 6-night stay. Though the other stuff did. Further, on the phone prior to our arrival, we were asked to get a Corona-test in case we were not fully vaccinated. On arrival, the manager only had a look at the test and my vaccination pass because I reminded her. So, I wonder if any of the other guests needed to provide/show this. All in all, I think we did not feel comfortable with their Corona rule/law handling.

Restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast was good , standard continental. Room was a bungalow , but comfortable and spacious.
