From arrival at reception through to entering room exceeded expectations, room exceptionally large, had small kitchen which was a surprise, view from room 126a outstanding with fantastic balcony, hotel was nicely furnished, breakfast was very good, location had everything a few minutes from good restaurants, supermarkets beach five minute drive and Portimao just minutes away, all in all I would recommend.

Hard to find a fault so why bother.

Well was bed n breakfast never had a hot breakfast the whole 7 days I was there bacon beans mushrooms were freezing ther heaters they keep food arm didn't work they had candles to heat it u had a 4 slice toaster for a 4 star hotel never .I waited in a queue of 4 people waiting in toast for over an hour the time my toast was ready it was hard a brick it actually broke my teeth going to cost me a fortune to get my teeth fixed also had to ask for fried egg to be cooked there were none ready hotel OK if ur staying for conference or short stay wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends I've stayed 2 star hotels and had hot food didn't have to wait on eggs or toast hotel 3 stars food 0

The infinitypool was super facing the Rio Arade. The Spa area had nice facilities but the Sauna was not hot enough. The dinner was very good and the breakfast had many options to chooce from. Also the superior room was quite spacious and spotlesly clean! And fresh Algarvian fruits brouht to us in the room was a really nice gesture +++

The Sauna needs some maintaining to be proberly hot as (the Finnish) sauna should be. Also steam Sauna had no steam and was cold. The reservation system was a little disturbing since customer needed to pay the reservation fee two times - first to booking.com and then the other straight to the Hotel. Booking released the fee from the Credit card next day but to customer this was a little confusing. The roomprescription tells that There is a minibar in the room but there is only an empty fridge.

Only downside is that it is a bit isolated, convenient for Ferragudo station but nearby restaurants seemed few and far between.

It was a wedding anniversary gift. All staff super nice and helpful. The breakfast with a large variety. If you are looking for a quiet place with amazing sunrise and sunset it is the perfect hotel.

it was spacious and the location was stunning. just where we needed to be.

There were 2 issues which we consulted the manager about, which were due to poor building standards and not directly related to the hotel at all. The Manager was shocked that we identified two building issues that he was unaware of. The maintenance man fixed one within two hours. The second one we rectified ourselves as we had specialist tools with us which we were using to work on our boat. The manager acted in a charming and professional manner and even asked us to join him for breakfast- top class management.

The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was good and staff were very polite. The indoor pool, gym and pamper treatments on offer were also good and staff were very friendly. The outdoor pool was in a lovely setting and the area kept very clean.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing start to our stay. We arrived at the hotel at 9.30 pm after a delayed flight. We had not had dinner and were very much in need of something to eat. We were most surprised to be told by the receptionist that they had stopped serving meals and could not offer us anything at all. A snack would even have been welcome. We did not have transport and she told us that the supermarket and nearby restaurant would be closed too. There is no vending machine for snacks. The only food on offer was a small plate of fruit in our room. We then discovered the following day that the hotel restaurant stops serving at 9.15pm but does not actually close until 10pm. This was a very poor service for a hotel with four stars. The kitchen was poorly equipped and there was not even a kettle. The balcony only had 2 uncomfortable hard plastic seats and there was nowhere comfortable to relax as there is no lounge area in the hotel. The hotel has so much potential but these few issues could have made our stay much more enjoyable.
