The location is great. The ground floor terrace was great having a dog. Parking nearby was very useful for (un)loading. The neighbours (also renting for the same event) were friendly We were pleasantly surprised to get a ground floor flat (it hadnt been mentioned anywhere in the booking)

The paintwork on doors is very worn giving a slughtly tired appearance. Would prefer to have a fridge in the kitchen rather than in the lounge. It was initailly clear that bedlinin and towels were not included - we saw this on the contract only.

Location, this is why I gave a 2.

It was not clean at all. I think Booking should not even propose such a place. (Smelly toilets, microwave and kitchenware was old and dirty and to clean it… (after we complained)…guess what it was swapped with a new one !) .. there was blood stains and nose poop on the bed head, urine stains and hair on mattresses, etc…). A place to avoid ! We did not really have the option to stay or to go as there were not people available to talk on Sundays pm, they are closed. The did send us the cleaning staff but they came 2h later and we therefore had to clean ourselves. To us, the local support (Llafranc Villa) failed to support correctly and even asked us not to write anything “bad” about them or the property while, after 45min, finally reimbursed the cleaning fee ! But it was the only gesture made (oh no, at the end of the 45min, they suggested a weekend in October too… not that easy when your are miles and miles away!…). AVOID Ancora! Avoid Llafranc Villa rental service! (And if Booking keeps on suggesting this property… avoid booking !)

The spiders on my bed, the cleaning was very bad. There are a lot of dirt in all the apartment. It's seems like they didn't clean it after a long time. There was a blood stain in our sheets (awful), no light inside the apartment, and there was a very terrible smell in the living room, the bathroom was very dirty too.(here you have some pictures). Was difficult to had a shower there...We've been on the phone with the staff for 1h, explaining the situation but they didn't help us... Was frustrating. It was a terrible experience and to be honest, I recommend you not to go. This was one of the worse apartments I have been.

Location only strong point

1. Service to collect keys took over 40 minutes and far too long. 2. Apartment was furnished very poorly with website images poorly reflecting the quality of furniture and fittings. Basic items like a bin were not even available. 3. That we had pay extra for bed sheets and towels was particularly ridiculous. Even more terrible was that the bed sheets provided fitted a single bed, yet we had a double bed so could not use them. We have a photo as evidence.
