The place is well located. The food and host(Sameer) is damn good. Loved the balcony and spacious rooms.

Missed a television.otherwise the room is huge and perfect.

The rooms were good and the ambience was quite peaceful.

It is far away from Varkala cliff. No auto/taxi service nearby. The Magnolia restaurant is the only restaurant and is very expensive.

Nice location...only 15 minutes by foot to the Varkalar Cliff. Staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool. Cottages are quite old, they need some renovations.

We liked the big bed, the veranda, air con and fridge. scooter rental could be provided.

The food, tea and coffee was really bad. In the images it looks like a nice resort but is more simple in reality. Which does not make it a bad place, just not meeting expectation. it is also a bit far from centre and restaurants.

beautiful cottage in wonderfully kept grounds in a special location, quiet, accessible yet with an air of exclusivity.. great pool, fabulous staff, super laundry service, delicious food and drinks served to rooms.. we have visited india many times and had travelled a long way, with very different expectations and experiences. we each fell in love with Kerala and the magnolia’s simple beauty and kindness.

everything was perfect. it was difficult for the airport taxi driver to find, I suggest use of magnolias transport.. limited food available on late arrival but some fantastic eateries on beach, turn right or take a ten minute ride into varkala.

Delightful stay, with extra value added by the excellent hospitality provided by Mr Sameer. Even though I didn't get the cottage I had booked, I was upgraded to a deluxe room that offered ample space, lovely view of the sea without any compromise on privacy.. The food is yummy, and the famous Black beach is a few minutes away. The pool is just the right size and is the best means to unwind after the hectic day at the beach. I will be visiting again, on my next trip

..Its a great Place for family and is very near to beach...We were a family of 13 including kids and aged members. Staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, swimming pool was well maintained. They have a small restaurant but the food was tasty. Since the food is made only post order is received its better to order food early.. A great location and property if you are looking for a peaceful holiday.. Special thanks to the Manager Ameer and his team.
