Very central, great little room on top floor. Staff very friendly and helpful

Being on top floor the shower was not high enough as my partner is tall. But over all lovely and a nice little bath. House keeping came on first day and she didn't come in as we were in room. We left the sign to have the room made up but she never came back.

Keys were to collect in the restaurant which this apartement is part of. The staff was helpful. To get to the room after 11 p.m one is obliged to use back door.

Room's furniture demands some renovation. Bathroom was a little bit smelly time to time due to ancient plumbings - it's probably anavoidalble in the building over 100 years old.

Perfect, central location with friendly staff. We stayed in the Motława apartment and had a lovely view from our balcony of the waterfront. It was slightly noisy in the living room at times, but it was as expected for such a central location. The bedroom, was cosy and everything was clean. The complimentary water, tea and coffee was a nice touch.

One small downside was that the shower screen was quite small and so water would end up all over the floor after showering. Also, as the property is old, there is no lift. It didn’t impact us but may not be suitable for those less able to walk/carry suitcases up stairs, although the staff were very helpful in helping us to the room.

The view of the canal was amazing. The staff was even better. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating especially Gregory.

The beds where pushed together to form a double and where not comfortable for us

Superb location and a really nice view from the windows. The apartment also was really spacious and had a second floor with the bedroom. I think people who appreciate historical buildings would really enjoy staying here. Our main reason for choosing this place, however, was the restaurant below.

Key collection was confusing, as the hotel shares the entrance with the restaurant and there isn't really a reception. Dusty air in the room, despite everything being cleaned. The interior definitely looked more polished in the pictures. Some items were broken. Too many stairs. Our room was at the top of the building, and if you travel for a longer time and have a lot of luggage with you, you will definitely not enjoy climbing all the way up.

Apartment no.4 "Motława": there are steps to walk up/down (no elevator in the building), but the apartament is located juts on the 1st floor. There is sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. The apartment offers charming view towards Motława River where you can sit outside on the balcony that belongs to the aprtament and stare at the river, tourits walking by and of course enjoy your glass of wine. There is a table on the balcony and two chairs. Quite spacious bedroom, with big double bed, very soft one (for some might be too soft, but for me it was ok), wardrobe to put the clothes, little sofa. The bedroom windows are to the backside of the buiding, so you will not be disturbed during your sleep by nightlife noise coming from the front. The sitting room: there is a desk with flat tv, little fridge with mini-bar, big sofa, two chairs, small tables. There is also a kettle with coffee and sugar ( I don't know if the coffee is replaced everyday - I stayed just one night), two cups, two wine glasses, spoons. There is no air-condition in the apartament, but even though there was +30C outside it was not hot inside at all. Very clean, modern bathroom, in snow white color with fresh white towels, bathtab, but you can also take a shower in it. There is small bootle of shampoo, shower gel and soap, so it might be better to bring your own shower gel and shampoo as those might be not enough for the entire stay. Carpet on th foor. The entire apartment and its furnishing keeps 19th century look (except bathroom, of course) and and it's in perfect harmony with Old Town and gives you that great feeling like being at old time Hanza town. OK folks, I truly recommed stay in "Motława Apartament" - the view from the balcony is spectacular and will leave unforgettable memories from your stay in Gdansk! Enjoy !

WI-FI: guys, you have to fix it - I could not connect to my iphone with the password. I tried many time and each time there was a message: incorrect password. There is something wrong with it. I had to be connected offline during my stay- no problem for me, but it might be a problem for visitors coming from other countries.

The location is great. The general feel of the establishement is very pleasant. The size and style of the room was great.

The bathroom had a strong bad smell. I think it was from the shower drain. Not pleasant and not comforting in the Covid-19 era. The bathroom itself was a bit shabby. Some small things in the room were broken, including a lamp, one curtain rail (no curtain on the window hard by the right side of the bed). The canapy frame over the 4-poster bed was repaired after breakage and seemed a bit too wobbly. It is one of those places that looks great at a glance, but upon closer inspection things are a bit shabby. Given the price, in a local context, one would expect better,
