Breakfast was very good. At busy times of year the nearby Otopark would be very helpful, this should be mentioned in the site description.
Breakfast at an earlier time would be appreciated.

We decided not to take it as the kitchen is overrun by cats playing on the kitchen surfaces
The so called ensuite,is,nt, its a toilet with a shower head over the toilet bowl, the space is less than a square meter and has a window with no curtain and people across the way can look directly in, when i complained the hosts brother threatened to punch me in the mouth, every time we opened our bedroom door cats and dogs would attempt to get in, the bedroom is so dim i couyld nt even read a book, even with the lights on, it was a terrible place and i would not recommend anyone to go there.

It is well located and the garden has charm.
However, this was our least favourite hotel on trip. When we arrived at 8:50pm, the hotel was locked – there was no one on site and no one picked up the phone. Although it was out of season, we had informed them we would arrive around 9.00pm. When the host arrived 5 minutes later, she came with barking dogs, quickly took payment and showed us to our room then disappeared again. It was by far the least hospitable experience we had in our whole 2 weeks of travelling in Turkey.
The room was also impractical (with many knicks-knacks everywhere). The bed was too small even though we were two short women, we can only imagine how uncomfortable it would have been for a man. There was no headboard but a very low painting with a frame which hit your head when you sat up in bed. There was no bedside lighting so very uncomfortable to read in bed. Dogs barked repeatedly throughout the night. We could hear every footstep of the people above us (and the only other guests in the hotel) - they arrived in the early morning hours and we had to be up at 5:15am so don’t think it worked for either of us. The lady who served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. The food was good. However, we were constantly bothered by a cat who kept trying to jump on to the table to get our food and by jumping barking dogs.

Amazing in one word. It was beyond my expectation, never thought I would stay in such a historical place with antique interior. Maria, the host was very welcoming, friendly and good cook too. The breakfast was so delicious made my Maria herself. The garden and everything about this place is just beautiful. Perfect location too. I will be staying here again for sure 10/10 for this place ♥️

Great location, very closed to the marina. The building is an ancient house with a beautiful big garden with flowers and fruit trees and very friendly dogs and cats.
Too many steps to climb eg. to your room and from the living room, one have to climb a few steps to the bedroom and from the bedroom, one have to climb a few steps to the bathroom. The breakfast was served from 9am which is late if you're going on a tour. We only managed one breakfast out of 3 days stay.

- Very cutely decorated rooms
- Incredibly extensive and delicious breakfast in the backyard
- Very kind staff
- Very interesting library
- Very good location downtown, just 5 minutes by foot to the water and main street (far enough to be away from the noise but close enough for all the action)
- Parking area just 50 meters down the street towards the sea
- I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again myself too!
- Due to the fact that this is an old stone building, I could hear the couple below my room talking late at night, and very clearly so. Since I knew they probably weren't aware of it, I simply went down and told them, I was lucky, problem solved.
- In the high season it might be difficult finding parking right in front of the hotel

very unique property, the breakfast was delicious.
the standard room does not have an adequate bathroom for someone who is 6 feet tall or more.

authentic, secluded garden, historic building, lovely outdoor bar area
breakfast only really provided for Turkish cuisine-

Breakfast was awesome and the housekeeper was amazing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
To my surprise the property also included a bar open from 7-midnight. The music could be heard in our room and was bothersome. I would have liked to of known about the bar prior to booking.
Additionally other than the morning housekeeper, it was difficult to know who worked there. I saw a few people around, but couldn’t tell if they were staff or guests. I did receive the WhatsApp number to reach out to staff, but when I reached out, I got no response.

A fantastic estate with a long history in a walking distance to the city centre. Breakfasts in the garden under lemon trees are superb! In the evening you can enjoy variety of great cocktails in the bar accompanied by a great selection of the music.
Sound proofing could be improved as the music from the bar might cause inconvenience for early birds

A unique, beautiful old stone house, surprisingly chill and calm amid the vibrant nightlife of Bodrum city. You get an amazing, super fresh breakfast under the satsuma trees. I wished that I have a bigger stomach, everything was sooo tasty:) Our room was very special with interesting details in old Turkish style, wooden floors and high ceiling, definitely worth seeing. We stayed at the big suite with 3-floor, and felt like king and queen in the old times.
In the evening, the garden turns into a speakeasy bar with fantastic cocktails. Highly recommend if you're after a secret, cozy place with surprising tastes, great music and vibe. If you're a cat lover, then it would be even more heavenly for you! We socialized a lot with their cute cats while sipping the cocktails.
Since the room was 3-floored, the AC didn't cool up as much. But I like to sleep a bit warmer anyway, so I did fine.

Room and hotel was fantastic
One bad experience with the bar man. He was rude when I first met him, then completely ignored me the second time I sat in the bar area. I guess he doesn’t like Brits. Everyone else was amazing, particularly Marina who looked after us so well. That’s the only reason I gave a 4 for the staff.

Very unique hotel in a 500 year old family home, the rooms are tiny but very cute and cozy, like staying in your grandma’s village house. The hotel is close to everything but on a quite street, so there’s tranquility and good night sleep is guaranteed. There’s an amazing speakeasy bar with great cocktails in the garden of the property, we enjoyed it for both nights of our stay. breakfast is very homey and they serve it the garden under the fruit trees. Very authentic experience.
the shower and bathroom in our rooms was very small, but this is an old house converted into a hotel, so this is expected.

The furnishings and decoration in the room were so unique. Beautiful gardens to relax away from the lively streets of Bodrum.
Breakfast was full table service enjoyed in the lovely garden.
All staff in this family run business were a delight to deal with.
The air con in the room was not super effective, however the windows opened which cooled down the room slightly.

The location was perfect, very quiet yet 2 minutes walk from the marina. The gardens were beautiful with the staff very helpful and to eat outside was very special.
Nothing really, the weather could have been better !

The breakfast was amazing and huge, the staff was exremely nice and we loved the garden. The cocktail bar was the best bar we found in Bodrum. We would definitely go there again if we return to Bodrum.

Bedroom had windows on 3 sides, which was very nice. Beautiful courtyard. Nice breakfast.
Room was too dark, lighting inefficient. Bed (mattress & box spring on floor), not comfortable, and bedding was tired. Bathroom was a mezzanine overlooking bedroom, not exactly private. Absolutely no sound-proofing as described on the site.
Towels were not refreshed on 2nd day.
Breakfast starts at 9am and they would not accommodate our request for 8am on the second day prior to departure.
This feels like a €50 euro property, not the €144 I paid per night. Very disappointed.

Many thanks Ha La Bodrum for our staying for New Year holidays. The Apartments are very close to the Marina and restaurants. Typical Turkish breakfast was amazing. Special thanks to the staff, especially Marina for recommendations where to go for a walk. Highly recommend this place!

Very kind staff, clean room and cozy garden/bar. Room smells nice and breakfast was delicious. Dog and cats were cute ;-)
The door of our room had a half blurred window so guests from outside could easily look inside our room so we weren’t comfortable at all in our own room.
Shocking part is that the shower head is above the toilet so you have to literally shower on the toilet. Mind you that the toilet is 1m2. For that price I expect at least a decent bathroom. Showering wasn’t comfortable at all.

The hotel is really charming; in a quiet area but close to the city and to the marina. Perfect location. The owner is a really nice person. the breakfast was typically Turkish and very good ; it was very nice to have it in the outdoors under the lemon trees...a unique place worth visiting.

The property is unique in every way possible. It is clean and absolutely gorgeous and has a perfect location. I highly recommend staying there if you want a beautiful, happy, and one of a kind experience.
There is nothing that was unpleasant. The room was amazing and clean, hotel owners and staff were so nice and welcoming, and the feeling you will get staying there is one of a kind and wont ever be compared to any other place.

The weekend cocktail bar is sensational, incredible staff, great music, just a really lovely place and would definitely recommend
Nothing I didn't like, fantastic place, really well kept, couldn't fault it

Old house and the grounds were beautiful and had a charming ambience.
The young girl when we arrived was very pleasant and helpful with good English.
-Not a practical place. Very dark room, side light not working, very sheer curtains (not private) no TV .
- wifi was shocking, basically didn’t work.
- be careful - there was a warning about noise from the bar right outside window - it is a HUGE issue, it’s open 6 nights a week until late 😣
- no jug/mugs in room, AND do not expect you could get a hot mug of water in evening when asked. Not available . 😬😬🙄
- breakfast doesn’t start until 9am. If catching a ferry at 9 they do NOT offer any early breakfast or hot drinks .
- when asked for a 2nd cup of coffee at breakfast please - sorry - cannot do.
Only Nescafé (but they had a nice big machine and the 1st cup was actually lovely)
- very limited English.
- We hate being this critical .
However - overall this boutique Hotel was a huge disappointment considering it was rated 9.4 .
