The property was cold when I arrived, only the living room heating on. The shower didn’t work. Located right next to a road.

Great location close to Sutton Hoo. Good comfortable accommodation with all the facilities for a weekend break

Access is difficult as it is in the grounds of the owners house with only a narrow track to the entrance

the location was great for Sutton Hoo and also surrounding beaches also very handy for Woodbridge golf course which was within a couple of minutes walk

there was nothing we didn’t like about our stay

Location, ease of access, everything we required was supplied.

Logs supplied for the fire were too wet to burn properly.

Great location, lovely gardens, nice open fireplace.

Needs more attention to detail.

I want to start by saying in 30 years this is the first bad review I have ever had to write. This cottage was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The beds were so old and thin that when you sat on them you were basicly sleeping on the slats. The furniture was covered in stains and the bedsheets looked like they needed replacing 2 years ago. This property is listed to accommodate up to 6 people, however, after 3 out of five of us had showers (no longer than 5 minutes each) there was no hot water left leaving the remaining 2 to have cold showers. For the price, I am disgusted and will be making a formal complaint and be looking for financial compensation as for the state of the accommodation it should have been half the price. Luckily we arrived late and the next day we were attending a wedding, so we were able to spend as little time as possible in the cottage.
