Perfect breakfast cooked fresh

Martina was a lovely host and very helpful. The room had it's own entrance and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was nice and served at exactly the time requested.

The bathroom did not have a proper shower.

The host Martina was very welcoming and cooked a fantastic full English breakfast along with some delicious homemade banana bread. The apartment was in the perfect location, had a car park only a few minutes walk away and was close to all the amenities (Smugglers Caves, Old Town High Street, Aquarium)

Fabulous location in heart of the old town. Felt very private due to separate access. Breakfast was delicious and host super friendly and helpful in making suggestions about things to see and do.

Martina was a Fantastic host, the breakfast was to die for so much choice. The room was lovely and cool as it was a scorching weekend.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Martina could not do enough for us and her breakfasts were fabulous. The room is private to the house with its own entrance from the street. The room was very spacious, absolutely immaculate and the bed was super comfy. We slept like logs every night. The decor is modern and it was great to go somewhere with lots of storage and plenty of hangers. Fabulous selection of teas and coffees including decaf which we hardly ever get anywhere. The location couldn’t be better, perfectly situated in the old town with access to everything on the doorstep. We are regular visitors to Hastings as our favourite seaside and have stayed in many places and this one was by far the best and we will be back..

The only comment we can make is the shower is an over the bath type but there is no shower rail or curtain so you have to have a bath. This looks like it is due to the lower head height over the bath so probably can’t be helped but certainly not a big issue and wouldn’t put us off coming back at all.

Excellent location in the old town, across the road from the beach and the Hastings Contemporary art gallery, and very close to the East Hill which is beautiful to explore. Excellent breakfast as well and Martina is a very thoughtful host with lots of great tips on things to do in the area!

Only thing that I think could be better is a bit more info prior to arrival of where to park.

The location, the proprietor, the breakfast, the room. Basically, everything was fantastic. Right by the beach with lovely pubs, restaurants and shops on its doorstep. Martina was lovely and so informative about the area and things to do and see. She also cooks a great full English. No tv in the room which suited us fine. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

We loved breakfast! The choice of options was fantastic and the cooked breakfast was fab. I ate a lot of banana bread as it was so good. Really enjoyed chatting with the hostess too.

There is no free parking but parking was only a short walk and not too expensive!
