Absolutely great little hotel. This was my second time staying at NPH, and I will return if I visit in the future. Very quiet location and has basic facilities, but so so good. The proximity to the lift and the welcome centre is awesome, and the breakfasts are amazing! I remember the staff from two years ago, who are professional and as friendly as they were in 2019. Great place to stay if you want a location at an affordable price.

They have no dining facilities in the evening. It would be great if they offered an evening meal. There is a kitchen but, again, very basic.

Good breakfast, it can be even better if service starts at 7am instead of 7.30am. Good public bath. Small room and small bath room but okay. House keeping twice during 12 nights but okay since you can change towers by yourself. Facilities are old but well maintained and clean.

Wifi at room was very poor so I have to go to a rounge every night for internet use. Walkable to the Base where the closest lift operates but you get enough exercise by get there.

Excellent location on the Hirafu main strip..walkable down to Family Chair or up the Hirafu Welcome Centre & ticket officr.. Breakfast was actually surprisingly good with reasonable variety. The croissants were great. Onsen small but very clean with an outdoor pool. Ample parking for a middle hirafu lodging was great. Staff friendly and polite. Great value for money though...

Room were rather compact " tatami". The hot water boiler kettle was rather old and worn..Teflon peeling inside and needed to be cleaned of sediment before we used it. Hotel was cleaned but tired... almost time required for a refurb..

Location is good for accessibility to Harafu Ski resort if you want to ski.

Booking.com did not show property availability for 4 persons (3 adults, 1 child). Only show availability when select 3 adults, although the Japanese room selected allow up to 4 person stay. Was told to paid extra 100,000 Yen/night for additional child which was not informed earlier. Total unfair for consumer like me, if have given earlier information of extra charges, there are better hotel around the area. Breakfast is included but nothing special. Not recommended if you are not going for SKI

When I just arrived, they gave me keys at the reception I went to the room and it was not cleaned yet, then they changed to the different room, but that shows the attitude and the level of the hotel. Then I left my skis, boots and gloves in the drying room for a night, next morning my gloves were gone together with ski pass for 5 days which cost 35,000JPY. There are security cameras in that room, but hotel stuff refused to check them. Then I called police they also checked everything. Anyways I went to buy new gloves and pass because I still wanted to ski. Hotel stuff never apologized for what is happening in their hotel. Then my friends came to my room for 30min next day and stuff from the reception was calling me and asking them to leave immediately otherwise they will call the police!!!!!! Sorry what?! When I needed your help and my staff was stollen you just told me you can do nothing about it. Here my friend came we just had a cup of tea in my room together and you will call police for that? Over all people who work there are terrible, very rude, never apologize for their behavior and what happened in their hotel full of thief, what if my ski were stolen I would be even in more trouble. Basically because my gloves and ski pass were stollen I lost one day of skiing, hotel change was a waste day of the equipment rent was a waste had to buy new gloves and pass etc in general lost around 100,000JPY, terrible experience and worst is that hotel staff never said sorry, they said it’s my fault that I left my equipment in drying room. Then what is the point to have that room in the hotel and have camera there ? It’s insane! Security level in this hotel is at 0. Hotel stuff is very rude I would never recommend to anyone staying there
