I'm a frequent customer as despite everything below, this is still the most decent hotel in Tarnów. I raised the feedback points below many times over the years. Many of them are painfully easy to resolve but over the years, were not. Most of my complaints are about the comfort of sleep - as a fussy sleeper I just don't ever get a good rest at GAL. - The pillows are massive, uncomfortable and just don't work with a body of an average human being. Please can you read about ergonomy and about what kind of support a human spine needs during sleep. I shouldn't need to be bringing my own pillow to a hotel to be able to sleep comfortably (which I unfortunately do now). Apart from that, the sheets are just too small and roll under my body after a few hours in bed. Solution: Add standard pillows as an option either in the room or to be picked up from the reception and get fitted sheets so they stay in place overnight. - The curtains have insufficient light blocking levels for the location of the hotel opposite of a well-lit train station resulting in the room being way too bright at night and also early in the morning. I really shouldn't be seeing the "TARNOW" sign on the station from my bed through the curtains. - You advertise two single, joined up beds as a single large bed. This is a work of fiction as even when you join up the frames perfectly, there's a 5cm gap between the mattresses which means you can't sleep in the middle - so you still have two small beds, not a single big one. Please stop misleading people with incorrect room descriptions. - The fitness centre with 3 cardio machines and not a single dumbbell? You could make it so much more useful getting a basic set of dumbbells at a negligible investment of a few hundred złoty.

Location, breakfast and hotel in general are excellent. Staff is very friendly and professional.

The room was cold. Even with heating on, it was constantly fresh and cold.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, top class and recently refurbished to a very high standard keeping period features. Bedroom a great size with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of choice for breakfast and very helpful reception staff. A minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes to the old town.

Currently no bar or restaurant but this is work in progress to open shortly.

Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient location right next to the station, but not far from the Old Town. A really spacious apartament with everything you need- kitchenette with fridge, kettle, microwave, plates, glasses, cuttlery etc. Nice balcony overlooking the historical train station and a park. Kids friendly- a nice corner with toys, blackboard, books etc- our daughter loved it :) Saunas were great! Very good breakfast- amazing choice of food!!! Last but not least, the hotel is in a beautiful building, lovely decors that make your stay memorable !

Balcony definitely needed some cleaning. Also, it would be convenient to get two door key cards- when one person uses the sauna ( which requires a door key card), the other one is left with no electricity in the room :( There was no soap or towels in the bathroom next to the breakfast room for 2 days.

Perfect parking.

Wifi was out of order many times.
