It was right next to the bus station and had a really nice bar to hang out with a very nice, chill vibe.

It really could have been cleaner and the beds were not really comfortable.

Good location is the only one plus

Check in wasn't nice, I didn't feel welcome in one bit. Matress was so used that i could feel wood when sleeping. Bugs in bed and one charging socket per 6 persons room

Location is very convenient

Beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom was wet most of the time. The girl at the reception is not very nice.

The only thing i felt was missing is personal electricity outlets by the beds.

The hostel was quite cheap for Punta del Este and the location was great.

As a female solo traveler, I didn't like the atmosphere when I arrived at the hostel. There were barely any women staying there and it wasn't very clean. I stayed in two different dorms and on my second night there was a party going on until 3am, so I couldn't sleep until it was finished.

It was so dirty, it’s a party hostel, kitchen was dirty and the bedroom was disgusting. Many volunteers but I guess they party a lot to keep the place clean.

Price and location near everything. Good music.

The sheets where stained, and it would be good to set some coexistence ruler. For example, let your room mates sleep, specially at night. It was 1-2 AM and the person in the lower bed of the bunk bed was listening to loud music in her cellphone, only to also wake me up few hours later (5:30 in the morning) because there was some shaking action going on in her bed. I ended up sleeping in one sofa in the living room, where I could stay till 07:00 because it's a common area, which is reasonable.

I had a great time at the Trip Hostel. I was traveling alone and arrived at the hostel on the last day of the year, I was immediately welcomed by the long-term guests and I ended up having a great New Year's Eve with them. The vibe is really laid-back and friendly. If you are traveling alone looking to meet some cool people look no further. Also, the location of the hostel couldn't be better, just two blocks from the "Dedos" sculpture, near playa mansa and brava, as well as the peninsula. If I'm back in Punta, I'm definitely staying there again.

6 bed dorm room was very small, nowhere to put your bags and bunks where 3 beds high which was annoying and awkward if you was on the top. bathrooms could have been better kept with toilet roll and soap checked more often. constantly smelt of weed and smoke but that’s most of the hostels we stayed in in Uruguay. kitchen could have been better equipped.

It was a bit messy looking like a hippy place but the vibes were good

You can't really meet other travelers here as this is place is where people that work in Punta del Este live, so don't expect a backpackers spot here at all. Everyone is on their own business and as a traveler you feel like this is not the place to be.

What I most liked was the people, they were so friendly

I planned to stay one night in Punta del Este and only because of the hostel did I stay for two nights. Great hostel, great location in the center, young atmosphere, comfortable rooms, hot water in the shower, and only good experiences! I totally recommend it!
