- Perfect location, close to restaurants and bars
- Beautiful buildings and grounds, nice pool
- Very friendly and helpful staff (especially the night manager who supports River Plate, he was the best)
- Nice breakfast with fresh juice and cakes
- Comfy bed and good powerful shower
- Close to walk to the beach
- music at the pool was not in keeping with the relaxing vibe

Wonderfully restored Brazilian colonial period house, which originally belonged to the Brazilian imperial family. Located in the Passagem bairro of Cabo Frio, the hotel is close to restaurants and cafes in this historic quarter. Very attentive and friendly english speaking staff. Lovely clean and well equiped room. Nice buffet breakfast.
The front gate sticks shut and needs fixing.

The property is beautiful and located in a nice spot close to some good bar and restaurants. The man at reception was very helpful when we checked in. The room is spacious the pool area is nice.
There was a very bad drainage smell from the bathroom and a lot of humidity behind the bed. There appeared to be a broken pipe behind as lines from water leak were there. The channels on tv do not work the signal is bad the internet is also not good in the room. The woman at reception could not recommend a laundry but there were several ones located in town

This hotel is always a good idea! Staff, breakfast and room were perfect
A pitfall was that the sauna was not working. So in a rainy day we ended up a bit blocked in our room

We went to Brazil for a couple of weeks and by far they had the best breakfast. Property was very nice and quaint. We loved it
The only thing that I could complain about is the final price for checking out. Maybe it is booking.com issue but there was an additional service fee that was not included in the price on Booking.com. We could not understand why we had to pay more for a service fee.

Perfect location, nice deco, amazing breakfast, comfortable room, friendly staff and quite nice swimming pool. Price is fantastic given everything this place has.
