Située à seulement cinq minutes à pied du village de Wentworth Falls, cette maison magnifiquement restaurée et classée au patrimoine mondial pour la conservation propose un hébergement de luxe, une connexion Wi-Fi illimitée et gratuite, ainsi que NETFLIX.
La maison Burnbank a été décorée dans le style Federation Arts and Craft Bungalow de 1915 avec un mélange bienvenu de meubles anciens et de commodités modernes. Les plafonds décoratifs, les fenêtres à la lumière d'origine, les cheminées ornées et les sols en pin restauré de Kauri sont complétés par la large véranda donnant sur l'est et par un grand pont arrière bordé d'un mur de pierre sur mesure.
Détendez-vous dans le salon en vous allongeant sur le canapé Chesterfield ou prenez votre café du matin sur le banc de la cuisine qui a été recyclé depuis les traverses de chemin de fer découvertes depuis les fondations originales de la maison. This is such a great house - this is the second year we have stayed here, at it is fantastic every time.

Perfect position to commence the Grand Cliff Top walk and return by train. Comfortable and warm with everything we required. Beautifully restored house, plenty of room for friends to enjoy.

We just completed our stay in this lovely restored heritage property. The home is located within easy walking distance for the Grand Cliff Top walk, train station and shops. The Grandview Hotel which had a great bistro/dining room is 2 minutes away.
The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay with ducted heating throughout, hot showers and very comfortable beds.
Though the property faces onto the Great Western Highway, the vehicles going past didn’t affect our stay. The home is actually accessible from the rear in Dalrymple Ave with plenty of vehicle parking space.
We used the trains for transport and with a cost around $1 one way for Leura & Katoomba it’s very economical.
There are good take out food outlets in Wentworth Falls about 5 minutes walk away.
We highly recommend this property and thank our hosts for allowing us to stay.

My friends and I spent 3 nights at Burnbank house and it was absolutely lovely! The house was gorgeous, clean and tidy. Our hosts were excellent communicators with an easy check in and check out process. Would highly recommend to others looking to stay in Wentworth Falls.
One thing to consider is, because the house is on the older side albeit renovated, it may not be super allergy friendly. A few of my friends, who are allergy prone did struggle a bit.

Absolutely gorgeous house, with a very homely feeling. Plenty of room & very well appointed. Walking distant to some lovely shops, restaurant & the Grand View Hotel. Also a short drive to Katoomba & Leura. Being on the highway, there is some traffic noise, but not so loud as it's annoying or disturbed our sleep.
Would definitely stay again & recommend it to others.

I have watched this beautiful home be renovated back to its former glory and wanted to see the interior. Found out thru a friend that the property was available for a stay. The property was all and more than expected.

My friends (5 of us in total) stayed at Burnbank house for a weekend girls getaway. We cooked, enjoyed the beautiful sitting room, and enjoyed easy walks to cafes. House was just stunning. Immaculately renovated and designed. VERY comfortable beds. I’m 7 months pregnant and slept so well. Easy drive to Katoomba and Leura. Can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to coming back again.

The house had everything we needed. The owners had thought of everything. Very close to Wentworth Falls Village and some lovely coffee shops. The house EIS beautifully furnished and decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you for having us.

A wonderful property that suited our group of 6 perfectly for a weekend away.
The house has a great layout, with a well kitted out kitchen and everything we needed, as well as being easy walk to the Wentworth Falls shops.
Great communication with the owners ensured a smooth & enjoyable stay.

A Lovely Stay
This beautifully restored old home is a joy to live in. That is cook, eat, sleep and (in our case) spend quality time with family from overseas. The kitchen is well equipped. The high ceilings and leadlight windows give a sense of spaciousness and the under floor heating works a treat!

Serenity at its best
We loved our stay here - a mini Downtown Abbey, for sure. :) The property was clean and comfortable, and had a super cosy feel to it. We loved the outdoor dining set, and the mini sized BBQ also allowed us to cook up a delicious meal. Another highlight was the bakery that was just a short morning walk away. Though we didn't meet them face to face, Desleigh and Ashley were very lovely hosts, who had great communication skills. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We loved it! As a side note, the mattresses are quite firm (which I loved!), however, this may be something to note, if that type is not suitable for you. The fridge was full sized, but "not massive." However, it was suitable for our needs and everyone loved their time there. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this beautiful property!

In terms of a review, a great place for 4 adult couples, close to the pub and a short drive to Leura and Wentworth Falls. I highly recommend this residence.

Well sited, and good for checking out the whole area
The house has been beautifully renovated. As Queenslanders we picked the right week, because the next week it was snowing in the area. The house has a powerful heating system that we appreciated. It was well set up for a group of ladies having a get-together. The house is a short walk across the main road to the Wentworth Falls shopping centre where they have everything you need. We especially liked the patisserie, german flavoured offerings which were particularly nice. Lucky we did not discover it until towards the end of our stay.

A beautiful home away from home
We had a lovely stay. The house is very tastefully decorated and super clean! Didn't want for anything. The house was nice and cosy warm with the central heating. Kids loved the table tennis table in the garage. Netflix was a bonus. Given the house is on the main highway there is some noise when trying to sleep at night however I managed to sleep OK.

Beautifully restored Arts & Crafts home in a convenient location
We booked this property after seeing the stunning photos and were not disappointed!
It has been lovingly restored in the original Arts & Crafts style but still has all the modern conveniences. The spacious house was spotlessly clean and and conveniently located, only 5 mins stroll to the shops and cafes of Wentworth Falls village and the picturesque Charles Darwin walk. Despite its location on the Great Western Highway it was very quite inside and the road noise was not intrusive.
Desleigh and Ashley, the owners, were extremely helpful and Desleigh even made a 2 hour round trip to deliver a portacot after a mix up with the booking! We would not hesitate in recommending this property to any of our family or friends.

Absolutely fantastic, beautifully restored grand mountain home
Our yearly family get together was a fabulous success, thanks to the excellent accommodation and facilities offered at Burnbank. The house has been tastefully and comfortably restored, but incorporating all the mod cons. An absolute best choice for our group of 8 adults. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linen is gorgeous. The kitchen is very well equipped and we easily catered for our group. Even though the house is situated on the highway the double glazing blocks most of the noise and no one complained of disturbed sleep. The outdoor area was where we ate our breakfast and lunches as the weather was lovely. The dining room was large enough for us all for dinner.
Being within walking distance to the shops was a bonus for early morning coffee runs. Thanks again, we will return
