Gorgeous garden and delicious breakfast! Very well presented!

Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Phillippe and I corresponded by email prior to our arrival, so I had the information I needed to plan a good stay. The house and its presentation far exceeded my expectations. The details of order and beauty greatly increased my comfort in staying there. Phillippe gave us very detailed information, from how to explore Poitiers to the exact ingredients in his lovely small dishes of breakfast goodies. His love of gardening and preparing beautiful foods matches his eye for design throughout the house.

Nothing. I now wish to return to Poitiers and Clos des Moulins.

The property was carefully and tastefully curated to give guests a positive and restful stay. The breakfast was delicious and was beautifully presented. Philippe, the host was welcoming and generous - even offered to do a load of washing for the weary travellers. The location on the riverside was ideal. The garden a delight.

We loved everything about this lovely hotel and the hosts .A beautiful tasteful space and stunning gardens with the historical dwelling caves at the back of which Phillpe provided a first class tour ..it’s a special place and we were sorry to leave

Amazingly beautiful and excellent breakfast with self-made products (e.g. jams). The tenant was very friendly and made us a nice little tour in his garden and the caves that are located behind the house.

Incredible breakfast and Philllipe cares about every detail. He speaks great English. For us, one of the main highlights was arriving to a parking space and electric charger which he set up in moments.

Perfect location for walk into the historic centre, clean and extremely comfortable bed. Delicious homemade breakfast prepared by the owner. Parking space provided. Beautiful garden and facilities are a high standard.

The breakfast is absolutely marvellous: almost all ingredients are home-made, the butter is just incredible as well as the yogurt and the jams. From the window of our room we could see the river which is 30 meters away. The B&B is few hundreds meters away from the Notre Dame le Grand, the city center. The owner of the B&B serves you personally, he is incredibly well informed and nice. The room was really clean. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Everything was perfect. We have absolutely no compliant or anything to have bothered us.

Breakfast was superb

The breakfast was exceptional. There was huge attention to detail. The products were sourced locally and of high quality. The host explained each of the items on offer and was justifiably proud of them The presentation was exquisite.

A mirror in the bedroom would have been helpful.

Lovely, modern rooms in a beautiful and Immaculate house. The bed was very comfortable and the guest facilities are excellent. The amazing garden backing on to cliffs made a wonderful setting, and the exquisite, homemade breakfasts an absolute delight! I travelled by train and so walked into the centre to explore, probably more than a kilometre, but I really enjoyed the walks and the sights by the river and in the town. Philippe's recommendations for places of interest and restaurants were perfect and much appreciated! I thoroughly recommend and would love to return one day.

The hotel is a tranquil and relaxing eco-friendly environment close to the city centre, with an emphasis on quality and sustainability. Our room was spacious and airy, with tasteful modern furniture. The breakfast was a revelation – all local products, super tasty and beautifully presented. A lovely place from which to explore Poitiers.
