We had an amazing stay at this historic, restored church! It was large, comfortable and full of history! The location is walkable to everything, especially Forsyth Park. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at The Bell Tower Loft. The decor and furnishings were lovely - a combination of modern and antique. So cozy inside. And so convenient to Forsyth Park and all the sites of historic Savannah. Our host was thoughtful and checked in with us. A perfect vacation.
We will definitely be back!

A walker’s paradise away from downtown tourist area. Clean, convenient with a lot to see and do in the neighborhood.

The property has amazing character and details, and is walking distance to Forsyth Park and nice bars and restaurants. Sound inside the loft carries more than you would expect to neighboring property, but shouldn't be a problem as long as your group talks at lower than normal conversation volume past 11pm.

Enjoyed our stay with the close walk to Forsyth Park and quick hop on the free buses to the historic downtown. A unique accommodation - love the combination of refurbished church and contemporary accents. Was a little concerned with the gap where you could see daylight underneath the closed off doors in the downstairs bedroom. (Would feel more comfortable with the gap closed up). Easy check in & quick replies to inquiries!

This place was absolutely stunning!! The attention to detail in the remodel was beautiful. It was very well stocked with anything we might have needed while we were there. It was walking distance to many great parks, restaurants and the farmers market. The owner was easy to communicate with and provided answers to all of our questions.

Beautiful, comfortable, unique, it had everything we needed. This property is beautifully furnished. It felt special. Everything about our stay was easy. I loved that we had street parking. I would definitely stay here again, but add a sleeping mask for the morning when the sun comes through the beautiful stained glass windows.

What a unique and beautiful property! We loved the location that was close enough to everything (and the Dot) but a bit away from the busiest parts of town. I brought eye masks after reading about the morning brightness, but I ended up loving being woken up by natural light thru the stained glass windows. We had everything we needed and management was very responsive. Thank you!

If you want an unique historical condo, this is for you, stained glass windows and a bedroom in the loft. The other bedroom on main floor, each have a bathroom. The manager was very attentive to any questions or situations. Short walking distance to Forsyth Park, restaurants and city bus stop. We found riding the free city bus downtown was much easier than driving and parking. During our stay we enjoyed a very talented music performance by SCAD, check internet for entertainment in the historic district!

What a fun, unique place to stay! It had everything we needed, including a beach chair and cooler to take to Tybee Island. It was very easy to walk over to Forsyth Park or further downtown. We hopped on the free DOT bus back. The only negative is that the original glass in the windows is not very soundproof. But it always seems to quiet down by bedtime, so not a huge issue. All in all a great location if you want a place in a neighborhood away from the craziness of downtown.

Amazing, unique place! Highly recommend. Easy to get downtown- we walked, biked (brought our own bikes), took the free shuttle from Forsyth Park and drove at various times throughout the weekend. Had everything we could possibly need. Hope to stay again!

Unable to stay at the rental due to palmetto bug infestation. Stayed up all the first night killing bugs, left at 10am next day.
When we contacted the owner at 1:15am to report the infestation, his response was "that's a part of life in Savannah."

If you are looking for an amazing property with an abundance of character, this is it! My fiance and I were looking for a unique place to stay while in Savannah for the New Year's holiday and came across this property. We immediately fell in love with it after looking at some photos, and after staying here, we know that we definitely made the right choice. Located just outside of the Historic District in the Victorian District, we were about a 15-20 minute walk to most of the downtown attractions. The renovation of this old church was spectacularly done, from the bathrooms to the living areas and the bedrooms, absolutely nothing disappointed! We would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

This was a perfect accommodation for our Sanannah family time. It is an excellent, well appointed, historic building, in a perfect location with easy parking, and access to all that Savannah has to offer.

We loved staying at this property and would stay there again in a heartbeat. The design and respect for the historic character of the building is wonderful. We were happy to be at a bit of a distance from the most touristy part of town, though it was certainly still within walking distance. Parking was easy, there are some lovely restaurants in the neighborhood, and the proximity to Forsyth Park was another big plus. The only tiny downside was that street noise comes in pretty easily, but it wasn't really a problem for us. Last but not least, the property manager was super responsive to multiple questions - much appreciated!

We were beyond impressed with the Bell Tower Loft. It is exactly as pictured and Kevin was attentive to any questions we had. Just a short walk to Forsythe Park where we hopped on the free buses to downtown. Could not have asked for a more convenient and lovely vacation spot.

This was my first time staying at a home rental. The images don’t do the property justice- it’s stunning. Great location. The owner, Kevin, was friendly, attentive and helpful with any questions. I highly recommend staying at this gem in charming Savannah.

Bell Tower Loft at Sanctuary Place is a unique property in a convenient location with adequate parking that provides easy access to neighborhoods and downtown by foot and the suburbs and Tybee Island by car. Four adults were very comfortable with living room, sleeping, kitchen and bath accommodations. We would not hesitate to stay again and recommend the property to others.

My partner and I gathered to meet for the first time my first granddaughter with her parents and a son of mine and his partner. The reunion was special, and the place where it took place, Sanctuary Place, was the perfect site for the reunion. The experience was so good we are already thinking about a return there next year if everyone's schedule allows. The space, a converted church sanctuary, was spectacular, with light through stained glass windows, and all the amenities were first-rate, the furnishings beautiful and comfortable. I couldn't think of one way to improve the extraordinary experience we had. The proprietor was completely accommodating and helpful and generous. The establishment is located in an attractive historical Savannah district with a wonderful and large park a short walk away. I give this Victorian church/loft conversion the highest possible recommendation as a vacation rental.
