the location is beautiful, loved the little town of Doolin. also Anthony’s restaurant connected was absolutely amazing. They had wonderful staff and delicious food. That honestly made the trip wonderful.

We were running a bit behind on time to check in , when driving to Doolin the receptionist called and asked our time of arrival and said the reception closes at 9, if we arrive after that then go to the restaurant and they close at 10. we arrived a little after 8 and the reception is closed , the sign on the door also said it closed at 9 so we were unsure why it was closed. Then the receptionist let us in to check us in but “lectured” us about time and such. For myself, I was already thrown off and not enjoying the staff based on the “welcome” we received. We then went to Anthony’s since it was dinner time, and it honestly saved our trip it was so delightful.

Doolin Inn was clean and comfortable. Nice that they provided a fan n the room as it was hot in Ireland this trip. No a/C is usual. Delicious breakfast (included) was served in Anthony’s restaurant which is attached.

There was nothing we did not like. I will say though that we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the inn keepers at the other inns we stayed in. There was less of a personal touch here.

Absolutely the best Inn I’ve stayed at ever! The staff was sensational - Daniella is a star and made the stay absolutely perfect. Eddie and Maria in the restaurant were so kind and knowledgeable. Overall the most charming hidden gem in Ireland. Cannot recommend enough!!! I would give it 100 stars if I could!
