Wi fi connection was poor

incredible place far from the city, old house very well remodeled keeping the style , rooms were confortable and clean, nice people, good wine, amazing James Turrel Museum, everything was very tidy and well kept.

The food was not at the level of the place and price, wine tasting were only 3 wines, none of them top of the line. I had to carry my 2 bags back to the car.

This estancia is truly exceptional. Located in beautiful surroundings, it offers top-level facilities, rooms, gardens,... in an amazingly peaceful atmosphere. A visit to the James Turrell museum is a unique experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The wine and food are of high quality. Our room was extremely spatious, it was more like a small appartment than a hotel room.

Getting there is quite the adventure. We came from Salta with a rental car (no 4X4) which was doable but challenging. Take into account that your max speed on the dirt roads is around 50 kph. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist, but unfortunately she did not speak any English.

This is a unique place of extraordinary beauty and energy! Unfortunately, we had only one day to spend there but it needs more, probably 2 or 3 days.

Internet connection could be better but in such a remote location that was expected.

Estancia Colomé is a dream come true. We fell in love with their wines in a tasting in Buenos Aires in 2010, and have been dreaming for 10 years about going to see the actual place. The wait was completely worth it. An overnight stay here warrants you a private tour of the winery (with only other hotel guests, not general public) and a visit to the modern art museum they host (a museum dedicated exclusively to the artist James Turrell). Its a stay to guarantee relaxation and gourmet enjoyment. The path to arrive to Colome can be considered a bit challenging for a standard car. However, we were in a 4x4 vehicle and therefore it was simply a small adventure with breathtaking views of the Valles Calchaquíes. Upon arriving, the receptionist took time to walk us through the entire property and show us the room, the gardens and pool. There was no phone signal up there (only wifi), which helped incredibly to be really disconnected to enjoy, if only for 1 night. The room was clearly modern and recently built, but maintained the traditional and quaint estancia quality. That is with the exception of the bathroom, which was state of the art and fabulous. Although the property itself and surrounding area/vineyard are the clear motive for the visit, the truly remarkable thing worth mentioning was the quality of service from absolutely everyone in staff. We were surprised to find that all staff (including waiters and kitchen staff) were able to respond to visitors in English, and the wonderful Manager Connie was handling dinner orders and providing information on wine and tourist attractions in over 4 languages during dinner time. She was amazing and made such an effort to make sure all guests were happy and well cared for, and made us feel as if we were talking to a friend. Valentin was our guide in the winery and museum tours and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, answering all our questions. We had dinner as well, and it was wonderful.

Everything was perfect. The wifi was down for a few hours due to a tower in the closest town falling, but this is impossible to solve in a remote location and it did not affect our stay. Just something to keep in mind in case being connected 24/7 is essential

Best hotel we have seen during our honeymoon in Argentina. The room was huge and beautiful with private terrace overlooking the garden and vineyard. Dinner excellent and not overpriced. Free bodega tour and wine tasting for guests. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine in our room as honeymoon gift. Loved it.
