Purple Juniper: Heart of Downtown, Sunny Front Patio, Welcoming and Comfortable
Le Purple Juniper est un quatre demi-duplex mis à jour et invitant à Main Ave. La maison fait face à une rue de quartier calme et ensoleillée. Il a un plan d'étage ouvert avec une salle de bain et une cuisine mises à jour. La salle de bain est entièrement carrelée. La cuisine a des comptoirs en granit et est équipée de tout le nécessaire pour préparer un repas à plusieurs plats ou un simple smoothie.
La cuisine et le salon sont reliés par un îlot en granit à trois places. Des sièges supplémentaires à manger en été sont une table à quatre places sur le pont avant. Les chambres ont un lit queen dans une chambre et deux lits jumeaux dans la deuxième chambre. Tous les lits sont solides, moelleux et confortables. Le refroidissement par évaporation en été prévoit en outre des nuits reposantes.
L'accès et l'activité principaux de l'unité duplex adjacente se trouvent à l'arrière de la maison, la location de vacances ayant une utilisation dédiée du pont avant et du gril.
À votre arrivée, vous aurez une combinaison pour entrer dans la maison. Je suis facilement disponible pour vous aider autant que nécessaire ou vous laisser dans l'intimité selon vos préférences. Vous pouvez vous installer en prenant une boisson fraîche sur le pont avant ou en marchant quelques pâtés de maisons jusqu'à l'avenue principale pour vous détendre dans l'un des cafés ou des brasseries.
En plus du centre-ville et de l'avenue Main, des sentiers de randonnée et de vélo sont également à quelques pâtés de maisons de la maison.

Our trip to Durango was amazing and Purple Juniper was the perfect place to stay! I've stayed in many VRBO properties and Purple Juniper is one of the best. This place is absolutely adorable and has everything you need for your stay. This trip was myself, my husband and my two teenage kids. Purple Juniper worked well for us because there were two bedrooms and the second bedroom my kids stayed in had two twin beds so nobody had to sleep on the couch. Purple Juniper is the front unit of this duplex. We had the front porch and the other unit had use of the backyard. We spent every evening hanging out on the porch. It was nice and quiet. We met the people staying in the other unit as they use the front porch to access their front door. They were the nicest people and we talked with them every day. Purple Juniper is a couple blocks from Main St. We easily walked down to Main St where all the shops and restaurants are. The unit was very clean and well put together. The owner, Victoria, is amazing. She checks in on you and makes sure everything is going well. It was refreshing because sometimes you never hear from a VRBO owner or manager. You just show up and hope the place is actually there. lol. There was plenty of parking. We parked right in front of the unit every day. We also saw a deer right on the property! Being from AZ we don't see that kind of stuff. I highly recommend Purple Juniper. We will definitely be staying again next time we come to Durango.

Excellent location for a Durango stay. I was able work during the day both on the bar inside and the outdoor porch area. The walk to downtown is so easy and convenient. AND very quiet. Victoria was the perfect host, she made sure all the essentials and BEYOND were available, even checked in during my stay to ensure all needs were being met. My son is a FLC student, he popped in before and after classes, making the location perfect for those visiting students. The furniture and bed were very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking and dining items you need. I really enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine watching the neighbors walk by. The Purple Juniper will be my go-to stay in Durango.

The property manager communicated well. There were plenty of dishes, glasses, towels and extra bedding. The location is fantastic - easy walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Free street parking near (often right in front of) property.

The location of Purple Juniper was what attracted us to this property. It is in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk to downtown. Add to that the wonderful front deck, the lovely accommodations, and excellent communication with Victoria, and it is a place I will hope to book when we visit again. We highly recommend!

The property is in a great location within walking distance to virtually all points of interest in the downtown area. It is also in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked with useful items rather than just “stuff” as is often found. All in all a very nice place to stay and I highly recommend it.

We adored this property and loved the location of this home so much that we are now looking to buy in the same neighborhood! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to (downtown, Hogsback, Fort Lewis, City Market…). The home was clean and well stocked. Victoria was amazing. She contacted us throughout our stay to make sure all was well and we didn’t need anything. We totally recommend the Purple Juniper house. Thanks for everything Victoria!

We spent a month at Purple Juniper. Arrived to find property as listed: a warm, “cabin-y” 2-bedroom. The unit was CLEAN which is our biggest requirement. We did have a couple of appliance issues that management jumped on immediately. Place is just a short walk to historic downtown Durango and Silverton train. It is also in a great walking neighborhood and minutes from SkySteps to the College on plateau above. Easy access to major roads leading to Mesa Verde, Purgatory, Pagosa Springs and more.

This property is in great proximity to historic downtown Durango. A short walk to shopping, breweries and many restaurants. Only downside was the cleanliness was not great - but still a good rental.

Well put together home, compact and yet spacious. Good location, quiet and within walking distance to Main Avenue restaurants and shops. Owner/manager Victoria was very responsive and helpful. We had a terrific four-night stay.

The Purple Juniper was perfect for my stay in Durango. You can walk to everywhere downtown in minutes or take a short drive to stores like Natural Grocers . Very charming, clean and cozy! Quiet and clean and wonderful amenities. Great if you are cooking or even want a morning smoothie. Victoria is very responsive, but there was very little not thought of or explained right inside for the stay! Will look forward to another stay down the road, my first choice in town. Highly recommended!

Great location in the historical district. Hiking right up the street and a short walk to downtown. The house was fully stocked, even coffee! It was great. We would stay again.

Our family loved our stay at the purple juniper! We could easily walk to Durango Main Street, which we regularly did for meals and shopping, but the street was quiet and the home was exceptionally clean and well-appointed for cooking and even laundry. I've stayed at a lot of rentals and have never had such a well-equipped kitchen- they had all appliances, dishes, even a variety of spices available for use. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Would recommend 100% and would stay here again.

Purple Juniper was the perfect home base for our visit to Durango. Located in the historic downtown area we were within walking distance of some great shopping, dining, and the awesome river trail.
Victoria was a great host and was available to us when needed. The house was spotless and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend Purple Juniper!

Durango 3 Day Visit
Durango was one of our stops on our Summer vacation. The house was great, very clean and suited our needs perfectly. Nestled in a quiet little neighborhood with a close walk to Main Street. Victoria was very responsive and accomodating.

The host was fabulous about reaching out to see if we needed anything. Very well stocked with plates, mugs dishes etc. Also lots of bath towels. I specifically chose this house for the close proximity to downtown. It was very easy to get to and from town by foot or car.

It was easy to access downtown and hiking trails at this location! I would stay here again. The property manager took care of internet connection immediately. She was easy to contact and quick to respond. Overall charming and refreshing.

Excellent home!
This property was excellent! My family of four was very comfortable. Stayed nice and cool during the day with the temperatures being in the mid to high 80’s. We did run the evaporative cooler for an hour to make sure we were nice and cool before bed. It worked very well. It was so close to downtown Durango. Very easy walk! Playgrounds close for the kids to play at. The house was well stocked. We would love to stay again!

Great stay.
The stay was exactly what we wanted - walking distance to Main Street, nice place to sit outside and let the dogs roam (only if your dog can be trusted off leash, no fenced yard), clean and comfortable.

Very nice
We had an excellent stay. The manager was prompt in response. The house itself is one of the best equipped rentals we have stayed at and thoroughly enjoyed cooking in and dining out on the porch in the sunshine (even in January). Thanks Victoria!

Christmas in Durango
This was a perfect place to stay. The property has a great location, the house was really clean when we checked in, it has everything you need, and Victoria is wonderful to work with. She did everything possible to make our stay at the Purple Juniper wonderful!

Two Weeks in Durango
We stayed at Purple Juniper for two weeks while exploring the Durango area. It was the perfect home base - great location! We went hiking and fishing everyday and enjoyed walking to coffee shops in the morning and to restaurants for dinner in the evening. Victoria was incredibly responsive. We'd definitely stay at Purple Juniper again.
