Le côté de l'eau comporte des ponts de la maison et une zone de patio pour le foyer qui se trouve près de l'eau. Il y a plein de meubles d'extérieur aussi. Le quai, le canot et un pédoncule complètent les commodités extérieures. Apportez votre équipement de pêche et essayez les prises de la journée. Le secteur de la cour est un endroit idéal pour jouer �� Bocce ball ou croquet. Les grands nids de soleil et les nuits étoilées sont quelques moments forts lorsque vous restez ici. Cette région est tout simplement hors de la ville mais si proche de tout. Que vous souhaitiez visiter Interlochen / Grawn, la péninsule de Leelanau, la péninsule de la Vieux-Forge ou le centre-ville de Traverse City, vous trouverez tous les circuits faciles à partir d'ici. Sunrise and sunset were beautiful from the large window in the living area. Having the kayak was a nice plus for us. The property management group were simply Awesome. I called with questions several time and they were always helpful and responsive.

Overall we had a good time on our trip, but it had a rough start. Upon arrival the code we were given for the keypad did not work and we had to call the after hours line. It was then told to us they knew they keypad wasn’t working from the previous renter, we were directed to keys other locations on the property. I was called the day before to verify I had received the check in information, knowing the keypad didn’t work would have been helpful to know and would have saved a phone call later. After getting into the house we found dirty towels piled high in the laundry room, all beds unmade, and the house had not been cleaned. Another call was made to the after hours line. They did take care of it with an emergency cleaning and had people there within an hour (shoutout to the ladies that did come, they were very apologetic and focused on everything we asked). But it was a quick cleaning and trying to entertain small children who want to explore and are hungry after traveling was a challenge. It was a rough start but the lake was beautiful. Perfect for swimming, canoeing and kayaking.

The property was perfectly set up for my 3 adult sons and their significant others/friends. The pool table in the upper level family room is perfect! The views of the lake were a huge bonus. Huge accommodating kitchen for all 10 of us for games and dining.

We all had fun in the play room. Kitchen was stocked well. Beds were comfy. Plenty of room for a family vacation.
One of the showers leaked so that should be addressed.

Our family weekend of 8 adults and 1 grandchild(4 yrs) fit very comfortably into the home. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds and view of the lake. The upper pool/entertainment room and kitchen were great for us all to gather. Great location for venturing out too.

The location and view of the home was fantatsic. You have a beautiful view of Bass Lake from every room and the game room woth pool table was a huge plus. Short drive to downtown TC and other attractions.
The main complaint was the water smelled extremely badly of sulfur. Property manager told us to just run all the taps and open the windows but this only helped a little bit and the smell was still there by the end of our short stay. They never sent anyone out to look at the water softener (which is clearly the problem).
Other things we noticed that could be improved were small but would make a big difference. The tile in the main entrance is cracked and broken, garbage recepticles outaide were overfilled when we arrived, bedding was stained, and the floors were filled with sand and dust. Overall minor problems and a good place to stay.

The lady across the street threatened my daughter with her pit bull our …dogs were on leashes after they accidentally ran in her yard once she said she called the police and animal controll she scared my daughters and the dogs

Bass Lake is a smaller lake with much less boating activity than Silver, Long or Spider Lakes - which makes it ideal for kayaking and fishing. The house is very close to the water but shrubs are beginning to take over the pier. The house is a lovely retreat to bring the family to. I do wish there was a curtain over the bedroom door (which leads to a nice deck) because the morning sun is very bright coming thru the patterned film over the glass in the door. The property management company is amazing - we had no water when we awoke on a Sunday morning - called the emergency number and Jack had a plumber there within the hour. Found the well pump was not working and needed a "well" guy to check it out. On a Sunday? Right. Again, Jack came through and the well pump was replaced, which was a fascinating operation to watch.

Property was nice. The only thing I would say is the stairs are not great, a few in our family slipped on the stairs. We were in town for a wedding so only had a short stay.

We had such a fun time staying at Smores fun. Our group came up for a soccer tournament, the kids had a blast being able to play outside, had space inside to play, and enjoyed the ping pong/Foosball/pool tables. The house was clean and well set up for our stay. Close drive to town and restaurants. Would recommend and will also look into it next time we're in town. Thank you!

House is in a beautiful location, the lake is literally right out the back door and downtown Traverse is only a few minutes drive away. Plenty of space for multiple families though we were just three adult couple celebrating 20 year anniversary’s and our friendships.House is well stocked with all the amenities, was clean, and had plenty of room. One note: not a complaint but the downstairs two bedrooms, hallway and bathroom are not at full height ceilings. Anyone tall is going to walk around down there with hunchback for fear of scrapping their head.

Our first stay in this lovely home that is close to everything you need - downtown Traverse City, restaurants and groceries - IF you decide to leave this great place. Three levels, well laid out, with a large game room on the third level with a 65” tv. You can tell the owners take pride in their vacation home with the upgrades they are doing. Bass Lake is beautiful and quieter than Silver Lake or Spider Lake (both at which we have stayed) - much less boat and jet ski traffic. The fire pit right by the beach area was a perfect way to end the day. We were so glad to find a house that didn’t have a steep decline to the beach area - so much easier when carrying towels, food & kids. The management company was the best we have ever dealt with - very responsive to any question we had - and this was our 8th year to rent a vacation home in Traverse City for 3 wks. We have found the perfect house for our summer vacation in Traverse City.

I will start by saying our week vacation spent on Bass Lake was amazing! The lake was perfect for swimming, kayaking, and canoeing, which we did each of these daily. There is a nice little sandbar which we could swim to as well. I just wish the house had one additional kayak! Each night we enjoyed a nice fire, listened to the sounds on the lake and looking up at the stars. The house had a perfect layout and space which accommodated our family and dogs perfectly! The covered porch was amazing to sit on especially in the morning or when storms rolled in (thankfully we didn’t have much rain!). The location of the house was fantastic in proximity to Downtown Traverse City, Suttons Bay, and the Costco, Sams, Meijer and Target.A few negatives though included the leaking pea trap in the laundry room and in the kitchen it sounded like the dishwasher was constantly running. These pipes were in our bedroom so we had some background noise while sleeping. We did call but they said they were unable to bring someone out to have it fixed (understandable to find maintenance people but didn’t make it any less annoying!). We also wanted to try playing the WII one afternoon and it was broken! We replaced the controller batteries and tried a few things with no luck! Again this wasn’t a deal breaker just a slight disappointment. The garage was a great space with the ping pong and additional games, thankfully we didn’t have to use this much because of the near perfect weather! I did notice they also had 2 nice bikes with helmets but we didn’t utilize these. The pool table inside is in okay condition but didn’t have sticks that were usable, again thankfully we didn’t need inside entertainment. Overall minus the few issues it was a fantastic stay, beautiful family friendly property and we would go again!

The ceiling and entry door in the bath in the basement also has low ceiling - about 6’ 2”.
However, we liked everything else and we would rent it again.

Highly recommend this large, comfortable lake house. Great for big kids and little kids. All the amenities you might need for a week on the lake Up North. Beds were great. Loved having 3 bathrooms. Very convenient to have laundry available. Wonderfully private lakefront - loved how quiet the lake was with very few motor boats. The lily pads were a beautiful surprise. Firepit received a lot of use. Worked out perfectly for our 3 generations of family for a week. We were all sad when vacation came to an end.

It was good, you could tell it needed some TLC. Our family noticed that the blinds were broken in places, some of the siding was on the ground outside, the downstairs closet were my kids were staying the door would randomly fall. Thankfully not on them. The people of Traverse city were not the nicest. You could definitely tell that a dog was there prior to us and sand was still every were around the house. I understand this because of the beach. The toilet in the master bed room was wobbly.

This was our first family vacation in 13 years and we could not have chosen a better location to recharge, make memories, and enjoy the beauty Michigan has to offer. The home was clean. There was a wonderful variety of things to do, both indoors and out. Everything was in working order. We had such a fun and relaxing time. It was so hard to leave such a beautiful place.

Only downside to the house are the very low ceilings. I’m only 5’4” and couldn’t extend my arms to stretch without hitting the bedroom ceiling. The master was a little higher ceiling, but if you’re tall you may want another rental. My 6’4” dad was not able to walk on the bedroom level without ducking.
