Close to my destination
It was expensive for a Saturday night in Sterling Heights

The place was clean and the staff was friendly and quick to remove troublesome guests
None of the children's programming on the TVs would come in, which made entertaining my 2 year old tricky when the pool wasn't open

The Location!!!
The Bathroom Door wouldn’t stay open it kept
closing automatically. The iron was cheap and spilled water out when you put it in for the steam. I had to press some dress clothes because I came for an over night stay for a funeral. I thought the price for the value was high and I wasn’t happy about that. I stayed there because other family booked there. It was close to the funeral home. Breakfast wasn’t that good for it being a Hilton. I’ve had better! Very disappointed!

Location
Noisy all night. Dogs running and barking in hallway. Desk attendant was so lame. Walked by 3 times and he never looked up from his phone. Then bought a few items, game him my room number and didn’t say ONE word. Ridiculous. Stayed there 4-5 times before but never going back.

The staff were amazing
The room was not clean and the breakfast was horrible . We had so much difficulty getting a key for my co / worker who was rooming with me and arrived before me . It took about an hour and a half and talking to about 10 people . At other Hotels it is just a phone call. It was frustrating.

The electric blinds were broken so my room needed to have lights on during the day to see....also there was no body wash in the shower, just shampoo and conditioner

Brand of coffee was excellent. Food was at least hot. Convenient to concert venue and decent restaurants.
Rooms are SMALL! Bed was mattress-only on wood frame. Everytime I moved, the mattress would slam against the wood. Lighting WAY too bright in the halls, and carpet was dirty. Breakfast area not big enough. Food choices too limited. Kitchen staff should not have been working on pancake maker problem while guests were trying to eat. They could have just put an "out of order" sign on it, and come back to it after breakfast hours. Coffee level was allowed to get to empty before being refilled.

Loved the overall look . Beautiful rooms and hotel. Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was good .
I didn’t like that we had a bunch of kids above us , they stoked and ran and slammed doors till 2 am and then we’re back at it at 6 am in the morning . Could hear their yelling as well. Breakfast was good but I didn’t like that the toaster oven was just one setting , I like lighter toasted bagels and it came out slightly burnt .
