Excellent service. Clean, beautiful, spacious and with a nice outdoor space and working fireplace. Fun game room downstairs.

Children running around the spa and using the ice chips as toys inside the steam room - unhygienic when they put them back. children should not be allowed in the spa area - pool yes understandable but no need for children in saunas or steam rooms. some of the staff were unfriendly and it felt like we were a burden for asking questions - we had bought a train/ski pass which did not work and the girl we asked to replace/repair this was a bit rude. The price of the restaurants and drinks is too high for the offering of food and service. The hotel is nice but not worth what we paid.

Great Breakfast, great location and despite being near full capacity the staff were available and attentive and the property was calm.

Rooms are big, great view, great Christmas atmosphere, incredible spa and service in spa.

We took our nephew and his bride here on their honeymoon, and they were astonished by the luxury. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, upgrading the newlyweds to a huge room with a spectacular view. The service across-the-board was excellent. My husband and I ourselves were in an executive double room, which was also huge, with loads of closet space, a large bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower, excellent amenities, mini-bar, coffee-maker, and a fabulous bed. (We had a "park view" but we could see the mountains too -- it was lovely). The spa and pool were terrific: comfortable, immaculate, and spacious. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied. We were hot, tired, and grumpy when we arrived at the RoyAlp, but the staff was superb and took excellent care of us.

This is simply a note to travelers: Be careful navigating! For some reason, when we put the hotel address into Google maps and our GPS, the GPS kept directing across across the valley to a town called Leysin. To get the the RoyAlp, use the town of Villers-sur-Orlon as your destination instead.

It seems that the staff is not very well trained or there is a lack of management. The service at the dinner was unapropriate. The transfer price was not correctly informed by the trainee at the reception.

Spa facilities were closed and this information was not published anywhere on the website or on Booking.com at the time of booking. Neither the hotel nor spa reception mentioned this either on arrival. Service was dreadfully slow in the bar. Interior design did not merit price and star rating.

wonderful hotel and only a short walk to town. easy access to the mountains via the train and then ski all the way back to. Spa is lovely place to unwind and breakfast is one of the best!

There were a lot of children during our stay (over Christmas) which meant to spa was not as relaxing at times.

The room is huge, with several wardrobes, balcony with beautiful view, bathtub and shower. I liked the home like ambiance of the whole place. Excellent breakfast with big choice of foods. Superbe swimming pool too!
