Amazing, value for money with large rooms.

Could do with air conditioning. But that’s the only negative

Austere, elegant, yet no frills with great fixtures and fittings. Great price, clean and super quiet. Buzzy little bar and staff were so accommodating. Would definitely return and recommend.

Ordinary breakfast but sufficient. Impressive building.

The bed was too firm and too narrow. Soundproofing was poor internally as all noise came through the door from people walking and talking along the corridor as well as from closing their bedroom doors.

All Corona Safety requirements were there and understandable. Clean.

The elevator was out of order. It appeared to me as it were the standard situation.

The room was clean. It had outstanding far distant views to Cologne.

Staff were not over welcoming, it’s a long walk from reception to our room. No air conditioning ( it had been 33 degrees outside and we had to go to Aldi to by a fan otherwise the room was like a sauna) although it could have been put in when they did their renovations! Impressive but clinical.

Been here several times. Immaculate hotel, large modern rooms. Good breakfast (for bread addicted Germany). Nice views from the rooms, very, very quiet. Playground and forest right there. Ample parking.

Some people complain that the parking is a 5 min walk from the hotel. Another small parking is 2 min away.

The room was clean and simple, the mattress was very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern. The view from my room was superb. Breakfast was nice with the option to sit outdoors. Staff were helpful.

The room was quite warm, and opening the windows for an hour didn't help to reduce the temperature. Coffee with breakfast was not great, but passable.

no air conditioning despite very hot day which made it suffocating in the room lift didn’t work no bedroom cleaning - they charge extra if one wants to leave the room after 10 am. Given the above I found exaggerating.

Could have had complementary kettle tea/coffee/milk sachets in rooms. Technically, the hotel is accessible by train / bus as indicated online and in the brochure… However, if one has a suitcase, it’s a major haul up the hill that guests should be told about in advance 🤗 A taxi is the most realistic way to get one’s bags up that hill 😂

A funicular to take you to the top of the hill - 68 year old backpackers will appreciate this greatly!
