Zeer mooie plek om te verblijven op een groot terrein met veel bloemen. Vanuit onze cottage hadden we een mooi uitzicht op het zwembad en de tuin. De eigenaar zorgt goed voor zijn gasten, hij had veel aandacht voor iedereen. Ontbijt was ook goed.

Die Lage in einem traumhaften Garten mit Blumen und Blick auf die Berge und Weinberge ist einfach grandios! Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll, das Frühstück köstlich. Personal und Besitzer unglaublich hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben zusätzlich Spa Anwendungen gebucht, die Qualität war toll. 2 Swimmingpools mit herrlichem Blick laden zum Chillen ein. Stellenbosch nicht weit und absolut einen Besuch wert.Der Kühlschrank beim Frühstücksraum mit preiswerten Getränken zur Entnahme sehr praktisch. Die Weine des Hauses hervorragend. Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben.

Die Twin Rooms sind leider alle in den Innehof und haben nicht die grandiose Aussicht wie die Zimmer mit Queensizebetten. Das ist schade, denn das Zimmer ist auch sehr klein. Da die Spa Behandlung im Zimmer stattfindet, war das dann schon extrem eng. Beim zweiten Termin konnte die Massage in einem anderen Zimmer gemacht werden, das war toll. Auf der wunderbaren Frühstücksterrasse könnte es mehr Sonnenschirme geben. Es war in der Sonne einfach schon zu heiß zum Essen.

we enjoyed ourselves so much! we got the cottage which was really homely, comfortable and clean; facilities and morning breakfast were great! the team was very helpful throughout (and before!) our stay, and are super friendly. we also had a space for us to park our car outside our cottage which made it extra convenient. location is very peaceful and private, suitable for quiet moments. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking forward to going back to sugarbird.

Lovely cottage! We stayed in cottage 4, which is very quiet as it is not next to the (exten) pool and it has a wonderful view over the winelands. There is an extra pool for the cottages (and one for the rooms in the main building). The stuff was very very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our relaxing time and would have loved to stayed longer.

We had a VERY big black/brown spider on the wall in the room. It took us by surprise even though I had read it in another review before. So just be prepared for that or ask the stuff about the spiders when you arrive. Just one more thing: We payed 25€ for the laundry (only a few cloths) (although it was ready after a few hours and was done very nicely, which was of course great, it is cheaper to let it be done at other places).

We had a very nice Lodge with a great view and nice sizing, staff very nice and helpful for also restaurant bookings etc., Breakfast served on terrace in morning with different offerings.

A beautiful location, delightful staff, delicious breakfast. We were in a spacious cottage with all self catering facilities.

Just a bit concerned about slippery tiles in shower. There is a notice - but it is sure very slippery. Would advise some strips to make it a bit nonslip or handrail

A bit disappointing compared to the pictures online, almost misleading. But apart from that and the price a bit high compared to everything around,, great place to stay!

Very nice location, a bit secluded (10 minutes from city center) so the views from the pool and the room were amazing! The staff is also very kind - our bedroom was very nice

we missed the little touches (a welcome letter and some info), the common spaces could have a bit more “home feel” but it was nice :)

Everything is excellent with many examples of extra touches, highy professional staff and an owner who cares about the property and the people staying there are there well-being. I can highly recommend this beautiful place!

It's a bit of a drive to city centre. Poor lighting on roads at night. So late night city dining is to be considered. We just needed accomodation for my son's graduation at university. So did not really do the whole exploring thing this time. But recommend it for real leisure travelers. Will certainly give it a visit next time.
