I enjoyed the bold style and decoration of the place. It's super pretty and comfortable. The staff is really nice and helpful and the breakfast is amazing. Definitely an excellent value for money.
the shower is maybe getting a bit old.

Beautiful hotel, where you do actually feel like a guest, not a client. Good breakfast. Amazing views on the canal side, but those that look into the breakfast garden must also be lovely.
The garden is a godsend in a city where it’s mostly water or pavement. Great to have somewhere to chill

Breakfast was actually VERY limited in choices. Cakes - fine, meat and cheese... where were these?

Jeg havde forstået at det var morgenmad med æg og bacon. Det var det ikke. Desværre en ting jeg nyder når jeg rejser. Så var der andre småting med utætte kander, til tider manglende opfyldning.
Når Aircon står som en facilitet, skal den udleveres. Det bør ikke være sådan at jeg skal være insisterende for at få den.
En af de andre deltagere på min konference overnattede samme sted, men fra lørdag til tirsdag. Samme totalpris som mig, der kun havde 3 overnatninger.

Good location, tram stop at front door takes you straight to city centre and major attractions.

Location. Perhaps 10 a minute walk from Port Garibaldi Station with eateries nearby (one was a trattoria to the left out the front door - don't remember the name of it but very good - booking required - hotel reception aware of the place). The Milan Monumental Cemetery is a few minutes' walk away. Very interesting.

The hotel if a little of oldstyle, which I like. There are always ancient pictures, even in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For breakfast they offer a choice of good cakes also.

Hotel, San Guido was a great state for our family party in Milan. The location was perfect for central Milan and other sites. The staff always friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Highly recommended.

Fairly good location and near a tram.
It’s a shame, we were there on holiday and you would expect the staff to be helpful. The ladies that did breakfast were lovely but a couple of the men were rude and unhelpful, especially the man on the reception in the morning. The staff should want to help or at least answer questions without an attitude.

Breakfast staff people was lovely and friendly. Hotel situation was easy to reach, and tram noise was also quite nice - my son did not like it at all, though.
Breakfast : Varied from day to another, which sounds not so bad, but.... For example one day you can have toast, another day no toast/bread at all. Different kind of cereals but no milk or yoghurt (afterwards we heard that if we have asked milk, we could have got it to table). Bad juice. Half frozen donuts... Of course all this is just a "first world problem" :-)

Overall it is a good hotel... based on the reviews it was exactly what i expected... I read couple of time, that it is a bit louder based on the tram in front of the house... which is true... but I knew it and was fine with me and closed windows.
But therefore it is really close to get to everywhere.
Also subway close to the hotel.
Breakfast was small but totally enough!
the tram sound is loud, but if you are aware it is fine... don't expect this to be a quite trip :)

Room was spacious and clean - rooms much better than in the pictures. Location was good, with a tram you can directly get to Duomo, Galleria and shopping district.
Staff did not speak english that well, due to that I could not get much info from the front desk.
