Good location and breakfast.

Misalignment for check-in as nobody was present on our arrival, not clean towels, there was not hot water in the bathroom sometimes, difficult to find staff at reception when we needed something, there were ants on the bed.

Michele iss the perfect host, trying to fulfil all wishes of his guests. The personal atmosphere at the breakfast buffet is just fantastic. So is the breakfast choice (3 different breakfast types with the possibility to mix everything with everything). Michele drove as from the airport to Bella Vista and back from there to the Ferryboat (for less than the official taxi fare). When we left, he arranged a breakfast long before the "official" breakfast time. He gave us also some good adbvice about hiking trails and nearby hidden beaches. The best beach around is Tsambika beach, a bit more than 1 hr on a nice trail (and much less by car). Some people go to dine at Kolimbia beach, because there seems to be a famous restaurant, but Gorgonas at Stegna isn't bad either. We liked the view from out balcony over the whole bay of Stegna. The Bella Vista villas are completelya in the nature, close to olive growths and therefore in a very calm area (see the exception below, however).

Below Bella Vista is an Italian Club di vacanze with loud and ugly music every evening until around 10.30 pm. But taking into account that one seldom arrives much earlier from dinner in one of the numerous restaurants along the sea, this kind of noice idoesn't harm really.

Breakfast is perfect, view is great, beach is nearby. The family who owns the place are nice and welcoming people. Note, since the hotel located some 45m above the sea level, make sure to go there by car or just enjoy the exercise.

The apartments are little higher up on the hill, overlooking Stegna Bay. You will need a car, however, if you are planning to explore the island, a car is anyway a must. The view is stunning! The apartments are lovely, spacious and have a kitchenette if you choose to do some cooking - but who wants to cook in Greece when you are there to try all the wonderful Tavernas!! The room is made up every day except Sunday. The breakfasts are served at the lovely breakfast terrace overlooking the bay. What a view!! Breakfast was totally scrumptious and very reasonably priced. There are mosquito nets on all windows / sliding balcony door, and A/C for those hot summer evenings.

Our only gripe was the hotel 300m below our apartments had outdoor entertainment every night - first a kids disco and then a show for the adults. The sound travelled very well up the hill and at times it was extremely loud. When we wanted to sleep with the balcony door open, we had to wait until 23h or later to open the door as the loud music was unfortunately very disturbing, or woke us up.

I loved absolutely everything and felt like home!! The hotel is situated in a very calm place, in a charming little village and has a spectacular sea view. Beautiful territory, olive trees and relaxing atmosphere! Every morning there is a tasty breakfast served outside with different options (continental/healthy/classic/greek breakfast or take scrambled eggs/yogurt/omelette etc.). The hotel is created and kept by a wonderful family - the owners are very friendly, hospitable and ready to help with every kind of issue. Small kitchen, air condition, charming balcony with a sea view! A lot of restaurants and Stegna beach are just 10 minutes walking from the hotel, but if you want to travel and see other beaches and places i would strongly recommend to rent a car. Small supermarkets are also 7 minutes walking.

Good views but in summer is very difficult to stay in the terrace from 9h to 18h at 40 degrees...Just bear in mind that you don’t see the sunset because the apartments are located in the east of the island. The pictures show the sunrise.

One month before our arrival I contacted them to stress that I had to work with the computer so I needed a decent connection. I was told that the wifi was the best of the area and that I will not have any problem. It didn’t work at all. I tried to work with my 4G but even with that, the connection failed (we stayed in other hotels of the island and wifi/4G worked perfectly in all of them)... we had to stay 10 days there because of the strict policy. Not going to get into details but after having paid the amount agreed, the owner followed us to our car making an uncomfortable scene (he is quite known in the village...). On the top of that, right after leaving, he tried to illegally charged to my debit card! And something else: A young couple were robbed in their room and had to call the police (the main doors are always open).

We truly enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista and would definitely come back if we were to come to Rhodes again. The room was large, very clean, comfortable with a beautiful view on the sea. The breakfast, both in terms of food and location, was perfect! Thanks for the beautiful time…

Bella Vista is really nice, quiet, cozy place. The service was very good. The room was large and clean with a good small but complete kitchen. It was comfortable to stay here with our little daughter. We enjoyed our time here

The WiFi was weak. It would be great to have a possibility to buy water and some sneaks on the spot - the nearest supermarket is 12 min walk down the hill.

The view from the room is very nice. Fiorella is a very nice girl and kind New towels every day and clean room. Air conditioning is placed good and its not blowing in any of the beds

To be honest i was a bit dissapointed with the breakfast. Dishes are coming with a "side salad" which is actually 2 slices of tomatoe and 3 of cucumber. It was 40 degrees you need vegetables, and you get neither one tomatoe on the table on the land of fruits and vegetables. If you order omlette you dont reveive bread. I ordered red mellon again i got 4 pieces on the table. I felt like from everything they want to take money and nothing comes from the host. Also i didnt like that the hair dryer in the room was not working as well as dryer you hang towels, was broken for more then 2 days till it was repaired. Beach is close but as the house is on a hill so its very hard to come back from the beach on the heat without a car. Wifi is very bad almost unexistent

Everything was wonderful! A very beautiful place, quiet, cleanly, great breakfast and very pleasant and responsible owners. I would pleasure to return there once again!

Generally, a nice place to stay with a beautiful view from the garden. Very calm and quiet atmosphere, especially at night. Very clean. Parking for 4 cars.

Few things really. We would say that breakfast is not their strong side. If you buy the option with breakfast included, you have 8€ to spend on anything from the menu (photos included), but portions were a bit small for us. For anything additional you have to pay extra. We had only one small soap bar for two of us for the whole week, it finished the day before and wasn't replaced. Also, we saw a huge cockroach on the kitchen table. At the end owner asked us to pay city tax, which was already included in our booking fee (as per our booking confirmation).
