rooms were hot and the windows do not really open. no food or drink on Sunday and Monday. not super close to much.

Great hotel, very dog friendly, good restaurant at the hotel with great outdoor seating. Breakfast was perfect.

the tv could just show one channel eventhough there was a list of 20 channels. the towel hangers were useless and the gym had broken machines

The staff is very helpful and friendly and the building is very nice and historic.

The area is not that attractive. Not terrible either and it’s at walking distance from the center so that’s nice.

We stayed in a 1BR apt and it is spacious and well equipped. Kitchen has all the utensils we needed, and bathroom is large. Breakfast spread is good, and waffle machine is hit. Laundry room happened to be just outside our unit and it is so convenient :)

You need to take a bus to the hotel from the central station but their transport system is very good and we had no problems bringing our luggage on-board. Will stay here again cos it feels like a home away from home.

I really liked how spaceous the room was. The staff was also very warm and helpful.

The building was a beautifully renovated brick building that used to be engine sheds. The hotel and all facilities were very clean.

Taste is subjective but the interior was very eclectic, it told partially the story of the train history which was then paired with cheap-looking impersonal furniture and paintings, trying to give an upper midtown lounge vibe. The rooms were sterile, and fixtures were all a bit wonky or not properly installed- e.g. the plug in the bathroom wasn’t screwed on straight and all hooks were not fixed, so we couldn’t put up the towels. The plugs next to the bed could only be reached when the bed was moved to either left or right. One bedside lamp wasn’t working and also not one standing lamp. Besides everything being very clean, there was a horrible smell coming from the drain in the bathroom which made the whole room smell and since we could only open the window in the ceiling we also couldn’t ventilate properly. We noticed that the kitchen/breakfast staff was very friendly, however the lady at the reception wasn’t bothered to welcome us or give us any information. She literally just handed us the room cards and told us that the room would be on the first floor- that was it. We asked for breakfast times, where breakfast is served and also where the sauna facilities are. Upon checkout, she also didn’t bother to say any niceties. All in all, the hotel did the job, but it wasn’t very cozy or welcoming.

Excellent room, spacious and comfortable with sitting, dining and kitchen areas. Bathroom was good size too, with a bath as well as shower. I liked the spaciousness and comfort. Modern electric closing blind for roof light and swivel TV to watch either in sitting area or in bed. Super comfortable and clean. Highly recommended. About a 15 minute walk to cathedral.

We ate at the restaurant first night. We hadn’t realised it was fine dinning and was very expensive for what we would normally spend, though it was ia wonderful experience ultimately. Odd looking sacks on light shades. Couldn’t decide if I liked them or not. It would have been nice if there had been some complimentary things in the kitchen to allow us to make a drink such as tea, coffee, coffee filters or a nespresso machine with cartridges. That’s the only improvement I am able to think of and a heads up on the restaurant price band!
