Excellently run hotel, very pretty rooms, wonderful beds, generous and delicious breakfast with self-made products, comfortable balcony with a view of the lake. Especially at night it was beautiful to see the lights across in Switzerland. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Great starting point for hiking and biking. Hagnau is a lobvely little town with plenty of restaurants and wine bars and a lovely promenade on the lake. The beautiful medieval town of Meersburg is a only half hour hike from the hotel.

The main road goes thru center of town and all the traffic has to drive thru .so although we were here in MArch and traffic was low, one could still hear the trucks early in the morning.
