No volvería a ir.
Tratan mal al turista en la recepción. El personal de cocina muy amable. No había suficiente papel de baño. Mucho ruido. Puertas viejas y en mal estado. No volvería a ir.

We really loved the view of the bay from the hotel. The pool is very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is good a little slow for service at times. The hotel is very well kept despite being older. Beds and room are comfortable with AC and ceiling fan.
The only thing we didn't like about our stay was the town itself. Taganga is a very local coastal Colombian town with not as many foreign tourists as expected. The town is dirty with typical vendors haggling you but the worst part is it is the loudest most obnoxious town we have ever stayed in! The local business play music as loud as they can until all hours of the night on the weekends. Week days are a little better. This almost ruined our stay as we couldn't get the best sleep.

Staff was friendly and the hotel has a unique location in the hillside above the cove..
With WIND HOWLING and noise of the Harbor partying, it was so loud we could not sleep.

Pool was ice cold, no one could use it. For show only.
The place is old and disgusting. Wind slams on the windows literally all night and it is challenging to sleep. Try to avoid this place. Horrible management.

Bathrooms were in bad conditions..Bathroom door did not closed...breakfast was horrible...no hot water for shower or jacuzzi...no elevator

The location was beautiful!
There isn’t fridge in the room and the bathroom did not have a place to put personal stuff.
Breakfast didn’t have jam.

The location is excellent. The staff are super from the cooks to the cleaners to the pool cleaner and the the front desk staff they will do anything to help.
The breakfast was terrible two very hard fried eggs with two dry pieces of toast 1/2 a pineapple ring and the same of cantaloupe a pretty empty looking fruit bowl. The hotel is over priced and is getting long in tooth needs an update. Wifi very spotty in the rooms.

Fantastic value! We loved the location and views and all the places to hang out and chill to escape or look over the bustling beach of Taganga.
The staff was very helpful and quick to act on our requests.

The view
Hotel is worn down but just to get there is an adventure (putting aside the all the roads of Taganga have no asphalt) because near hotel entrance there's a row of rubbish containers and rubbish means discarded fish. We had a room at 5th floor with nice view but there's no lift (would be handy to tell in advance). The handle of the door was falling apart, the hanging table was falling from the wall, there was just a small and old sink in the bathroom with just cold water, there was a window without frame so the wind was gushing in (5th floor on the top of a hill, mind...), room windows had hard life to handle the wind considering the open hole in the bathroom, so basically we didn't sleep all night, we left the day after and we lost 1 night. Seriously booking should do a better work, can't call this place "Genius".

The views from our room and the rooftop are amazing.
There were tiny ants in the room. I supposed it happens in countries like Colombia with the humidity.

First of all, I want to complement the staff. Very accommodating and friendly. The hotel has excellent views of the beach and mountains. The pool and jacuzzi (sun-heated jacuzzi) are also nice features. Close to surrounding beaches and other mini excursions and restaurants.
However, there are some things that are out of the hotel's staff's control, which is the noise factor. During the weekends, it is a great time to celebrate with the locals at the neighboring clubs, but the noise can last until 3:00 a.m. Not recommended if you stay in that part of town until 3:00 a.m. It's a little sketch. So not ideal if you come to just relax on a weekend, but during the week, the noise level is moderate and comfortable. Also, there is no elevator and there are a significant amount of steps. So if you have issues with steps, this may not be the ideal spot for you. The restaurant was primarily open only during the weekends.

very beautiful hotel , good vibes and deco
integrating nature
extremely noisy because it is very close to the popular Taganga beach and the music was very very loud until 3 am. This is Not a place to stop before you visit the Tayrona park .
But good place if you are in a party mode !

It was dirty in room

The food was good, the waitress was nice. the view from the hotel is beautiful. I was very impressed with the staff caring my bags on the shoulder to my room and my luggage weight 50 pounds.
I didn’t like because did not have too many place to walk the road was in bed condition. too many dogs and cats in the beach. The Taganga beach was duty. we need to go other beach for clean beach but the restaurant did not have running water. I am sure they are trying there best.

Location and kindness of staff. Nice swimming pool.
There is no wifi in rooms and in some common parts.

Carlos at front desk was excellent and helpful. Other staff, less so. Hotel full of rules. They inspect the room prior to leaving like the gestapo. They protect towels as if it was gold. Restaurant staff moody and unfriendly. Hotel has many comfort issues. Flimsy windows allows noise in all night. Taganga is a party town and it is loud all the time. Unpleasant, when the noisy is constantly in room. Bathrooms are run down. Jacuzzi is colder than the pool. Not a good value.
See above. Mainly cheap hotel with a high price. And, I hated their rules. So unpleasant.

This is the definition of a great hotel. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and so helpful. They helped us extend our reservation and book a boat ride to Parque Tayrona. The facilities are spectacular. There are several places to relax and they all have an incredible view of Taganga Bay, always with a nice breeze and shade so you don't burn or overheat. And lots of spaces to choose from if you need more privacy. The room itself had a private patio (which you don't even need), comfy king bed, ac + fan, safe, and big shower. The pool is perfect for swimming, wading, birdwatching, and relaxing. The included breakfast is tasty and fresh. The restaurant has local fish and lots of tropical juices and options at a reasonable price--with the view and more intimate space you can't find anywhere else. Facilities are clean and whatever you need the staff are more than willing to help with.
This isn't about the hotel but guests should know that down in the bay, the bars will blast music from 3-4 different major stereo systems from 6pm to at least midnight and sometimes later so if you are sensitive to noise, bring earplugs and don't expect them to turn it down ;)

Lovely bar and pool facilities with beautiful view across the bay. Comfortable room with decent ensuite. Friendly staff.
The food was pretty average. There were lots of steps up to the hotel which might make it difficult for some people to access.

very beautiful and comfortable place, very healthy and delicious breakfast, very friendly staff, beautiful view, I definitely recommend it

View was amazing, pool is very cool too. Free breakfast was an OK perk and it is in a good location.
Not a good value at all - this is priced like a 5 star hotel but the amenities are that of a hostel. Room is just not that nice. Bathroom was run-down, restaurant was always empty, staff was often not around. They advertise having a jacuzzi but it is ice-cold water.
