We had a lovely stay at castlehouse b&b ! The authenticity of the place is refreshing as well as the kindness of the host, John, who gave us many helpful advice on local places. We strongly recommend it to anyone looking to have a nice and authentic stay in Connemara !
And big plus for the really nice view from the bedroom on the countryside and sea !

There was plenty of choice and everything was of high quality - John, the owner, said he wouldn't serve anything he wouldn't eat himself! The atmosphere was very pleasant and I will certainly recommend it to friends.

Felt really at home, comfortable, warm and cozy. The room was nice and tidy, the bed absolutly comfortable. John the owner is a cordial and welcoming person. Breakfast was great as was the dining room with seaview.

Everything was perfect, the room was comfy with an amazing view, breakfast was great every morning, the location was quiet but close enough to Letterfrack (I recommend eating at the Seafarer and climbing Diamond Hill) but most of all it's John our host who made our stay stand out. He's a true gentleman, nothing we asked was too much trouble, he gave us great advice (Glassilaun Beach) and we'll be back again.

The B&B was located in a breath taking area , I did arrive after regular check in time due to unforeseen circumstances, after calling the host he accommodated our late arrival and the breakfast was absolutely superb , I will certainly return when I am in Tully again

The host was SO friendly and nice and let us know about all the places where we can eat (as there aren't much options in the town and only residents will know the good places). The breakfast in the morning was really generous and the whole atmosphere was great! It is also a 7 minutes walk to the most beautiful beach you'll see! Great experience!
Only that there aren't that many amenities around the area, but that was fine for our short stay!

The property offers a lovely full Irish breakfast and John (the host) was very friendly and helpful. He recommended a beautiful beach (Glassilaun beach) which we would have never found on our own, a real treat!

Property is in a perfect location with mountain views and beautiful beach 800m away. Breathes with history and character. Food store across the street. Close to main attractions in the area- Connemara national park, Killary fjord, Kylemore abbey. Very clean. Tasty breakfast. Parking at the property. Host John, such a nice guy, friendly and helping. Loved our breakfast chats. Would love to come again.
