Perfect location, near the sea with view on the “waddenzee” Very good restaurant for dining and a very good breakfast

The room we had on the ground floor was very spacious for 2 people. Breakfast was delicious, filling, and we loooove that in our basket of fresh breads, the staff included two doggie bags so we could take away any leftovers. This was perfect to not only avoid food waste, but also because it came in handy for lunch on the beach. The area is more isolated and it’s not easy to go shopping or to go to a restaurant in the middle of the day, so the staff’s clever and considerate thinking is a big win in my book. We also really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the surrounding area is in the mornings and evenings. Even in the middle of the afternoon, it sometimes felt like we had the island to ourselves. Coming from a big city, this is of course is quite a treat! We would definitely stay here again.

Staff very friendly, were able to arrange bikes. Due to corona, no big breakfast buffet, but basket delivered to table with bags to take remainder for lunch. Location is remote but great for birding in Kroon's Polder.
