Amazing view, close to the beach and Nicos was a wonderful host

I can write an essay about what I liked about the Big Blue. It's an amazingly beautiful place- a view worth millions, serene, one minute from the ocean, exceptionally beautiful and decorated with the utmost care. It's just an experience I wish every traveler could have. But the best part about the stay was the Co-owner Mr. Nikos Demou's friendly and information-rich advice. He took a lot of time to share his experiences from this area, gave us recommendations for hiking, sight-seeing, restaurants and more, like the farmer's market in Ierapetra...We were here only for two nights, but could have easily stayed for a week, time permitting. We will come back again, though.

It's hard to come up with anything..

This is an excellent place with a great sea view. Rooms are individually styled with every facility you could want for a short or longer stay while having lovely local art as decor. Balcony has a wonderful view and some Appartments you have a sea view from your luxurious bed. The owner and staff go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay in the hotel and in the surrounding area. Many tavernas with delicious food both on the sea front and in the village. There are several cafes to choose from with supermarkets and gift shops to browse in. Long Beach with beds and sunshades. Plenty of places to visit in the area if history is your interest.

Thanks to Nikos and Stelios we had a wonderful time in the lovely Nr 1 apartment with its sea view. We got some really good ideas from Nikos concerning daytrips, beaches and tavernas. We had a perfect week's holiday and hope to come back again soon.
