superb location - fantastic views too!

sea view was not actually a view as they were blocked by tree, ours was ground floor so may if first floor you will get a better view

The individual apartments were comfortable.

We booked 2 apartments for a family unit through Booking.com, but the 2 apartments were in separate complexes of the Oasis Apartments and we had to drive between apartments when we wanted to see the other members of our group. This was not ideal for a family vacation. The beds were also not made up as requested and when we identified this, Housekeeping was sent to the wrong unit to change the bedding configuration. There were also a number of dead and one alive cockroach during our stay.

The unit was on ground floor. Having the buggy was so easy getting around the island.

The pull out bed mattress was really soft and worn. Also the AC in living room broke down on our second day. The team installed a portable AC unit the following day.

Great location and great sized rooms. And the view is amazing.

While the apartment was really clean and comfortable, some of the fixtures and fittings were old and dated. The bedside lamps in the main room were mouldy, the one beside lamp in the second bedroom looked like someone sat on it. The kitchen is dated and the sink needs replacement. The kitchen bin was broken. The bathroom needs refurbishment.

Good location and walking distance from the main strip.

Apartment 12 had quite a few issues which were disappointing. There was absolutely no communication prior to arrival on the pick up from the airport. Pest problem with ants/ insects everywhere even in our beds. General cleanliness was poor. The bedsheets were dirty (contained stains and hair) and need to be replaced with new clean ones. Kitchen isn’t very well stocked up (no salt or pepper). The address for the property on the booking is incorrect which took us a while to find the actual property. The fridge had an unbearable seafood smell. Hot water was very poor, resulting in long waits for water.

Beautiful location and view, good size, clean, enjoyed the buggy.

The sofa bed's spring could be updated as you could feel the springs through the bed and multiple layers of blankets. The dining table chairs are quite sunken in as well.

birds on the balcony if blinds were up but I’m not a bird lover

The golf cart was always available for us to use during our stay.

They forgot to pick us up at checkout as scheduled. They didn’t warn us about shortage of staff on the island which made in impossible for us to get on a tour to the barrier reef or to have a proper dinner in a restaurant (only take out).

Too short

I was so pleasantly surprised walking into Oasis 17. It was so much better than I expected from the photos I saw online. Very clean, and I loved that there was an atmosphere as soon as I walked into the place with jazz music playing on arrival and the aircon on, keeping it nice and cool. Beautiful views from the dining window. Extremely good service with the airport transfers, and it was awesome having my own buggy to get around on the island.

Not much I didn’t like. The shower screen needs a bit of a fix up, but apart from that, the property was excellent.

there were a few things in apartment 8 the Weber needs attention and is dangerous bathroom door doesn’t lock apartment 3 lots of ants and cockroaches apartment 17 mould in the shower and shower door is hard to shut lack of containers in the kitchen to put food in other wise very comfortable
