Pension Waldheim is very conveniently located immediately in front of the tram station. We checked in late on the first day and Barbara was kind enough to accommodate our request. We had a lovely time here, would love to visit again in the summer! Highly recommended.

Peaceful place to rest. Walking distance from the tramp station. Great hospitality and Barbara was so helpful & welcoming.

Nicely decorated house, friendly host, location close to the jungle where u can hear sounds of stream, well equipped room, 3 bathrooms available for 8 room, hiking can be started nearby for the tallest tree in Germany , wash basin in the room

Location is a bit far from center but it takes 10 min by tram 2 that runs till 12-30 at night

Amazing location, beautiful nature around. A small village on the outskirts of Freiburg, there is a tram and the city center takes only 10 minutes. The stop is right in front of the pension. the trams are very quiet. I had a nice big room. The shared shower and toilet were clean. Mrs. owner very nice. It was great accommodation

I was staying in a small apartment which is excellent. The area of the hotel is full of nature and beautiful. Even though it is a bit far from city centre, there is a tram just in front of the door to reach the city centre and the train station easily.

Wifi sometimes didn't work very well.

Convenient and quiet location just outside the city centre. A rather spacious room with comfortable beds and good heating. Nice views on the fields and forests.

Wi-fi quality is so poor that it's virtually impossible to use. Fitted carpets: I have nothing against them per se, but I'm always a bit dubious about hygiene when I find one in a hotel room.

The welcoming was nice; the room and the bathrooms on the floor were very clean. Moreover; the location is fantastic: you have the tramway just in front (it takes you in 10-15 min. to the city centre) and the pension is right at the gate of the black forest!

I just have one comment: the breakfast was a little bit expensive (8 euros), so I did not take it.

My partner and I ended up in hotel Waldheim sort of by accident, after failing to find an accommodation in the center of Freiburg. We are so happy that luck brought us here! The pictures online don’t do the hotel justice: it is a beautiful old building, overgrown with ivy and at the foot of a green hill. The staff is very kind and speaks perfect english. The facilities are roomy, cozy and clean. The breakfast is lovely too. By tram, we were in the city center in 15 minutes. We will definitely return to this lovely place!

I came here for home office/staycation to have a change of environment. Wi-Fi worked well for Zoom! Fantastic stay for my dog who had access to the forest trails within 3 minutes. Surprisingly good breakfast with coffee/tea, juices, fresh fruits, muesli, cuts of meats, fresh buns, cheeses, spreads, etc. Owner has a wonderful sense of humour! We plan to come again soon!
