This hotel is fine, and "pretty good" by Mexican standards, but we probably wouldn't stay again. I did appreciate the comfortable beds and the cold air conditioning (once I put working batteries in the remote) and the room was quiet and thus good for sleeping. Breakfast starts at 7:30am which is earlier than most hotels. Reliable wifi in our 5th floor room but be aware it didn't extend to the pool. Though not perfect, it seemed in line with what we paid.

Location is only okay. Quick walk to a quieter section of the malecon but the main tourist center and bus station is about 15 minutes away by foot, which is just far enough to be annoying. The pool is smaller than it looks in photos and was ice cold during our November trip. Breakfast was also adequate but not great. Weak coffee + they ran out of food often (and took a long time to refill) and food was only lukewarm (or even cool) unless it had been recently refilled.

The service was excellent.

Room wasn’t ready by checking time, breakfast was subpar (not even orange juice was included), bathroom was tiny and only ventilation to it was through a window. Only 1 room key was given to a 4 people group and when asked for more they asked for a deposit. Price overall I think too much for what it is and due to location should be lower.

Great hotel, staff was super friendly and attentive, very clean and the rooftop pool area was just wonderful. In the day for some tanning and the sunset was beautiful , great to chillbout and enjoy drinks/food. The pool is very small we were lucky that it was just us and 2 or 3 more people ... makes it a very cozy place Breakfast was very nice, eggs, chilaquiles, coffee etc... included with our room rate , we thought it was a great value The restaurant food was actually quite nice and great price/value. We had finner one night there.Shrimp and ordered a steak... the shrimp was better but the steak not bad Our room was very comfortable, king bed, desk area , coffee machine and water bottles. We had room 301 Just 3 or 4 blocks from the main Malecon beach walking area, super close to many restaurants We walked 3 blocks to the Oyster House by FISM and had a lovely light dinner and on our walk back stopped by Romero Dulce and bought some sweet bread for our morning coffee .

The only compliant was thst the air conditioning in the room was a bit neurotic haha ... sometimes it was too cold other times it was not cooling at all, other than that it was great. We were lucky it was not really hot otherwise we would have called front desk and I am sure they would have done sonething as they were really responsive to any request we made Pet peave of mine: I wish when they design rooms they would not put the AC in front of the bed, who likes the cold directly shooting at you?

The beds are comfy, the personal was so helpful. location is great and parking easy!

we had to change 2 times the room as some are connected rooms (hearing everything from the other room) or on the 5th floor just below the breakfast room. They need to isolate the rooms by changing the doors and windows.

Left too early for the breakfast. We appreciated the onsite parking ability, easy walkability to our friends' hotel and our restaurant. Our room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. The rooftop seating and eating is not to be missed. Enjoyed a drink at the end of our evening with a great view.

the fact that part of my family are smokers and for 5 days they were allowed to smoke on the top of the hotel at the ashtrays along with other guests that smoke. On the 6th day they were told they couldn’t smoke on the property by 1 staff member. More communication between staff might be helpful. If smoking is not allowed maybe remove the ashtrays 🤷‍♀️

we loved this hotel! The pool deck was pristine, really nice spot to eat breakfast or have a sunset drink- with great views over the town and the sea. the staff are exceptional, thank you to Francisco & his friend at breakfast for always taking care of us. (sorry I forget the second man’s name). and to Jenifer and Jami, also Jenifer on reception who was v helpful (apologies if I’ve remembered names wrong). the staff are testament to this hotel, so friendly and helpful and kind. The room was always spotless and with water replenished every day. Also big thank you to the kitchen staff at breakfast - I am vegan and every day they gave me avocado & tomato or made me salad wraps so I had something decent to eat before going on trips all day! this is so rare and was so appreciated. they could not do enough for you! really good value for money and walkable to the seafront (just a couple of blocks) & plenty of restaurants and bars.

one afternoon we couldn’t use the sun beds as a tour group were having a meeting and we’re spread across most of the chairs and loungers- not a fault of the hotel but this was our only issue the whole week.

We especially liked the rooftop area and spent a lot of time there. it is a beautiful spot to see sunrises and sunsets and just hang out during the day.

our room was a bit cramped with the 2 queen beds in it. it was a bit hard to move around.

Clean, easy access. Parking was perfect. Nice vibe! Great hospitaly!

Everything was really nice. The only negatives would be a very very cold swimming pool and the breakfast is so so. Not really suited for a Canadian family with young kids. More of a Mexican breakfast. Was probably good for other visitors, we did not appreciate as much.

Your staff was very friendly and helpful. Our breakfasts were delicious. We would book Hotel HBlue again and have told our friends about your accommodations.
