Location was great.

Had a very unfortunate ending to our stay at Drift Hotel. It started off great, even extending our stay for an extra night. After check out, we got a notification that we were being charged $190USD for a robe that we apparently took with us. I help run a hotel myself, and would never take an item from the hotel room, especially if it was that much money. I even searched our bags high and low just in case it got packed unknowingly. It wasn't there. I told management I did not have it, and they said someone would be reaching out to resolve the issue. I've never heard from anyone. Very disappointing to say the least. Especially since I often stay in San Jose, and was excited to come back to this property with family and friends. Not happening anymore.

The style! The robes, hats, little touches of design are really great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There was not deeply hot or deeply cold water in the shower. It was all one temperature, which given I was there in August was not a big deal.

Overall, a really awesome property! The hotel is beautifully designed and considered, and the price point was great for what you are getting. The location right in town was also super convenient.

My ONLY complaint is that it can be very noisy. We were there at the beginning of the week, so this was not an issue every night, but some of the local bars play extremely loud music late at night, so you are subjected to the thump thump base next door. We're personally used to some noise, so we were still able to sleep, but it would be a problem for someone who is noise sensitive.

Beautiful property and nice, central location. Walking distance to many top restaurants in the region. Staffs are super nice and welcoming

The noise. Couldn’t fall asleep for two nights due to loud nightclub nearby. Noise cancelling airpod pros don’t help as my room trembles with the bass. I later found out that a large square window appeared to be welded to the window opening from the outside. There is large gaps between the window pane and the opening, making sound travel into the room quite easily. Management switched us to a different room and solved the problem. They have been nothing but accommodating and pleasant. Definitely a saving grace to the whole situation. My suggestion is to Management is to do a thorough analysis of sealing and soundproofing for all rooms facing the nightclub (Building B). Seal the windows and doors well and consider swapping them with sound-controlled windows (double pane, offsetting thickness to start with). The walls seem to be concrete so should already be fairly sound-resistant (dense materials block sound well). Focusing on windows and doors would likely yield roi
