Das Essen war immer ausreichend und für jeden was dabei.
Das Personal an den Bars und im Restaurant war super freundlich
Mein Zimmer war direkt über der Lobby und dem Frühstücksbereich von TUI. Sehr laut jeden Morgen würde ich von Geschirr geklimper geweckt.
Mein Check in war der schlechteste meines Lebens. Das Hotel wollte zwei Mal Geld von mir. Ein late Check Out war auch nicht möglich.

Breakfast was always excellent. Lunch was good. Dinner on Friday fell below my expectations. Dinner on Saturday was excellent. My husband was brought an alternative protein when I told the waitress that he did not eat red meat (I did not realize that chicken was out on the beach - sorry!) I appreciated this personalized service. The staff especially the waiters/waitresses were warm and friendly. The night show times were excellent on Friday and Saturday.
We only received two towels for the entire weekend. We received no face towels despite this being listed as being provided.
We received NO FLOOR MAT. At our ages this is dangerous as old bones don't heal well. I understand that the hotel is reducing the amount of washing it does to reduce the phosphates which damage our reefs, so I guess I need to be more understanding of this lack of towels. I received a floor mat on Saturday from one of the cleaners as two calls requesting same from the front desk proved futile.

The bathroom is not clean no soap holder mold in the bathroom we had to switch room because the whole place was flooded with water. I had to speak with the general manager for the front desk to change the room right away we have to take up our suitcases so the wouldn’t get wet. We were going out on tour that morning we couldn’t even take a shower.

Beautiful Resort, Beautiful Beach, nice people and near everything. There was buffet style meals which was good most times

There was a variety of great activities and entertainment. I liked the all inclusive food. I just hoped to eat some Jamaican patties!

The location is great. It’s prime real estate. Every room has an ocean view except room 1330 has a view of a roof and then the ocean.
I didn’t like how difficult it is to contact booking.com to help me resolve my issues. I don’t like that booking.com quotes me a Canadian price in their Canadian site but then charges me in American currency plus increases the amount. Booking.com charged me in advance when their email stated the hotel would charge me onsite. I requested a full refund and I’m getting the run around from both booking.com and Decameron Cornwall resort. Booking.com rates this resort as 7.2 and it’s far from it!
The hotel is not being maintained, it needs a lot of repairs. It’s filthy; there is lime build up on the facets, shower heads and the shower floor, it’s gross.
The food on the Cornwall side is not being kept warm.
The Cornwall section is understaffed and the staff is overworked and MISERABLE. The WORST customer service ever experienced!
Most of the staff are rude, unprofessional and combative, especially the women! They treat the Black guests like 2nd class citizens and the staff themselves are predominantly Black.
I would NEVER recommend this resort and I would be shocked if it’s still open in a year operating at this rate and under the current management.

let me start off by saying.... the communication is very poor.
the lady at the gate was extremely rude.
Rooms weren't ready.
when rooms became available we were just handed the keys (keys, not key card but keys) no information on anything! its like they just expected you to know how the place is run.
Facilities.
The bathroom had no door. just a shower curtain.
Amenities were not enough for the occupants in the room.
had an ironing board with no iron( was later advised its based on "availability") (thats crazy)
no working safe.

Upon arrival we were checked in by manager JONAS. The whole purpose for this trip was to celebrate a birthday, i asked if i could make a reservation for one of the onsite restaurants i was told reservations are taken at 9 am. the restaurant i wanted to go to was on the sister property. i went the next Morning(saturday), i was told they were full. the lady at the front desk advised me reservations go fast so i need to come earlier tomorrow. i explained that I would be checking out by then, she said it was no problem. sunday rolls around, i head over to make the reservations.
time to check out. the bands are immediately cut from our hands, again we are told we can stay and swim and eat. we get our stuff from the room and decide to wait for our 6:30 res. Jonas sees us, asked if drove or we are waiting on a driver, we said the latter. my mom asks if its an issue, he says yes! we should have left, we explained what we were told. he says that misinformation, we say Ok, we are gonna leave, before we get the chance to, he calls security on us! Embarrassing! I understand you gotta do your job, but communicate and treat people with respect!

The property is in a good location is close to all of the local stores. However, the staff is horrible. Let me be fair. The staff in the dining area area was really nice. The staff who keeps the rooms clean, was horrible. We never had towels we had to call Don and say, can you bring towels they had a room on the third floor that was filled with dirty towels. It was hardly any clean towels. I’ll call booking the second night to complain because I wanted to move to a different hotel. I’ll go to Jamaica lot and I stayed at a bunch of resource and I’ve never experienced this ever..
The upkeep of the rooms is very bad there’s no toilet tissue no towels and they don’t stock the fridge. I’d like to supposed to the day that I was there. It was someone who got sick. She had a toothache and I can understand somebody getting sick. believe me I’m sick but that’s up to somebody getting sick, however Our room did not get clean until I want to say about 530 then when they cleaned it they gave us no towels and we said where are the towels the lady who came out to clean the room said we were bringing some towels we don’t have any clean towels that was 530. This is a big resort. How is it that you don’t have any clean towels so the next day we went downstairs and said hey, we don’t have any towels at all. We have no towels and washcloths no nothing they left us nothing They said that they would bring us some towels and they brought some towels up about 11 the next morning.  then the lady who cleans our room was upset because we can play that we didn’t have any towels and she knocked on the door and see if she wants to clean our room and we told her that we can’t shower, so how are you going to clean our room when we have no towels even shower bring us some towels so that we can shower and then you can come in and clean our room she did and said well I got a very busy schedule so if you have them, let me clean it right now I’m gonna have to clean in the afternoon. I told her we pay a lot of money to stay here at least give us some towels so we can shower.

Room was not prepared for (3) three as was the booking/payment, additionally ,room items in promo was not made available .

I liked that the property was clean.
I didn’t like that the sister resort next door didn’t have cross dining available when I was told it was. staff members don’t communicate well with each other. The resort is pretty small and the food was just okay. I was checked into the resort An hour past my check in time. The service was extremely slow. I would not come back here again. It’s okay to come if you have never experienced all inclusive and your younger and don’t really care and need a place to lay your head.

THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE PROPERTY IS LOCATION. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO LIKE ABOUT THE PROPERTY. THE SAD THING IS I STAYED THERE BEFORE WHEN OWNED BY MR. LEE. THE DIFFERENCE IS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY. THE CURRENT OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT HIM AND ASK FOR HELP IN RUNNING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF THAT MAGNITUDE WITH EASE AND GRACE. IT SHOULD BE CONDEMNED!!! A PROPER NAME CHANGE WOULD READ “ THE ROYAL DUMP CORNWALL BEACH”. THE GUEST RELATIONS MANAGER ( jamaican lady), UPPER MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE ALERTED THAT SHE’S JUST THERE TO RECEIVE A PAYCHECK. SHE MUST BE THE OWNERS DAUGHTER BECAUSE SHE WAS A BLANK STARE. NO REAL SOLUTIONS TO NOTHING SOMEWHAT IGNORANT TO THE FACT. HATED SEEING HER COMING. TOGETHER WITH DWAYNE THE FRONT DESK MANAGER NOTHING WAS REALLY GETTING DONE. IF NOT FOR DONOVAN I BELIEVE THE DESK WOULD CRUMBLE. HE HAS A PURE HEART, HIS MAJOR CONCERN ID'S GUEST HAPPINESS. THE MOMENT YOU MEET THE FRONT DESK STAFF YOU VACATION SPIRALS DOWNWARD. THE DESK STAFF ARE VERY INCOMPETENT. THEY ARE SCRIPTED. THEY ARE NON ACCOMMODATING. IT WAS JUST A SHIT SHOW. I WOULD NOT RETURN IF IT WAS FREE. OMG WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. A HUGE HEALTH HAZARD. … THE TOILETS IN PUBLIC AREAS DIDN’T FLUSH DURING OUR VISIT (July 2-9,2023), SO IN THE LADIES ROOM YOU HAD TO RELEASE ON OLD URINE AND OLD FECES THAT HAS BUILT UP DURING A HOT JAMAICAN DAY. THE SMELL FOR ONE WAS HORRIBLE THIS WAS HAPPENING IN THE FIRST FLOOR LOBBY HOTEL AND THE POOL SIDE RESTROOM BY THE BEACH TOWEL ROOM, IT WAS DEPLORABLE!

I loved the amenities at the resort! It was easy to get a taxi to any destination that was set up by the resort. The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs! Eric was a wonderful bartender who kept the party going! The food was always fresh and the resort clean! The cleaning staff went above and beyond going as far as organizing my belongings. I also loved the access of both resorts (Montego). I was skeptical at first but royal Decameron exceeded my expectations!
In one room the air wasn’t working when we arrived (they did get it fixed though). Also didn’t have additional accessible clean sheets the first but they also got that resolved. I would suggest broader food options

For those coming from Europe - this is not a sleek punctial 4-star hotel. This is no more than 3-stars being quite warn down and service being, let say "relaxed" but that can also have its charm:
- As a dane travelling with kids, it does not feel safe with guests openly smoking joints - engaging with staff while doing so (while I did not see any staff smoke). Staff even taught the guests to shut a "greeting" ("boom boom boom" - I kid you not!!). This shouting continued in the dining area where it was further encouraged by the staff as they replied back with "boom boom boom" rather then asking the people to quite down. At 2 AM the guests then decided to jump into the pool and have a party for at least one hours. As all rooms are located towards the pool area, I imagine many people had there sleep ruined. No one from the hotel came and managed the situation. Again - this does not feel safe from a family perspective.
- There is a lot of staff and they are friendly but not "service-minded". They reply "yes" or "no" but if the anwer is no, they do not help you to resolve your issue. E.g. beach bars open at 10 AM and not one minute before that! Further, we arrived very late in the evening - we where all tired from travelling almost 16 hours. We had a lot of suit cases and two small kids and yet no one from the staff offered to help with the luggage.
- Things are too relaxed for my taste: E.g pool was to open at 9 AM but both days we where there it did not open until 10-11 AM. The reason seemed to be that the staff did not start cleaning the pool early enough.
- There where no beach towels until very late in the afternoon (you'd think they would know how many where needed).
- Food ran out - e.g. one morning there was only bacon for the initial 20 minutes.
- No ice cream available (I know seems like a small thing but it's not when travelling with small kids).
