Extremely nice place to stay, small, but with nice decor touch and historical feeling. Very much recommended.

Location could not have been better. Central to pretty much everything. Easy access to public transport and in a very walkable neighborhood. Having breakfast in the Art Deco Callas Cafe was a real treat. Good food in a lovely space.

Maid service could have been better. Left a dirty coffee cup, used glasses, and a cleaning rag in our room

The buffet breakfast that was included in the room price, downstairs in the Callas Cafe , was absolutely delightful! There was a great variety of foods to choose from including made to order fried eggs. They had small round doughnut type pastries what were filled with choclolate, covered in powdered sugar......quite yummy! The decoration of the restaurant is stunning. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean ☺️

There was no mattress pad on the mattress...just a sheet on the bare mattress ( could very well lead to a hygiene issue with a stained mattress 😳 ) The coffee in the breakfast room was wonderful, however the machine created a backup with people waiting to make theirs.

We loved the hotel and the historic building next to the opera and metro. Great location with all the nearby shops and cafes as well as the lovely Callas restaurant breakfast and lunch. We had a room with an outside balcony which was wonderful. Room had everything you need for a short stay.

Highly recommend staying at Callas House in Budapest - we were given a free room upgrade to a suite on arrival, with a rooftop terrace offering stunning views over neighbouring Budapest Opera House. The decor in the rooms is exceptional and staff were very helpful during our stay - helped with safe, booked taxi to airport for us. The complimentary breakfast was ideal, and also enjoyed the fresh cakes and goulash soup. The location couldn't be better 10 or so mins walk to St Stephen's Basilica, Szimpla Kert, Karavan street food, next to Budapest Opera House & within reasonable distance to Parliament Buildings, Danube, Szechenyi thermal baths & Heroes Square. Also 360 rooftop bar & High Note rooftop bar couple of streets away. Shared more on I G @ Jaz_butterfly

The bed was comfortable, but a little too firm for our taste. Pillows were fairly flat and would benefit of being upgraded to match the luxury accommodation.

Lovely room in building with great character, nice view of opera house, great location for many things, very nice breakfast, pleasant staff.

Very spacious for family of four - loved the rooftop balcony & luxurious bathrooms. Location was superb - right next door to the Opera House.

Nice hotel in the centre next to the Jewish quarter with many good restaurants and bars. Friendly staff, we got an upgrade of the room without additional payment. Good breakfast.

The room was large, very clean, bright, and cheery. The property has an elevator which was a great help as I was on the fourth floor. Their restaurant, which had an extensive menu, was next door. The food was excellent and the staff attentive.
