La situación es excelente, mucho mejor allí que en todo el centro de Candeleda. El personal es muy amable y explica todo genial.

Baño muy básico y la ducha no tenía presión, así que l ducha por la mañana se hizo muy complicado. Yo me duché pero mi pareja no.

The location right by the 'piscinas naturales' was delightful. The bedroom was comfortable, quiet and clean. Friendly restaurant staff.

I arrived on the Sunday afternoon after what had clearly been a hectic weekend at the hotel - it was evident but I accepted this given that I was paying 29 euros for a single room. I was told that the elevator was not working and had not been working for the last 4 days because of a storm on the preceding Wednesday. This seemed a lame excuse and I had a number of bags (one heavy) and had to walk up 2 flights of stairs. The restaurant staff who checked me in and served me dinner were very friendly and welcoming. However, I needed to use the Internet as I had a business need for this but had great problems accessing this establishment's quirky wifi. I speak fluent Spanish so it was not a case of misunderstanding but I was made to feel by the Management / Reception that this was my computer's problem. I battled with the WiFi for half the night after having some success initially earlier in the evening. However, it was certainly not my computer's problem as at 8am the next morning, without breakfast (only served from 9am at La Pastora - somewhat late for me), I left the hotel and drove to the Churrería bar Tenazas in the centre of Candeleda where my I gained access to the café's WiFi immediately and received a very warm welcome.
