the garden is nice and rooms spacious.

the room wasn’t clean when we arrived so it had a very quick once over. unpleasant smell in bathroom, pool was a bit dirty & was a little noisy at night, air conditioning was temperamental and leaking

The Villa is great, only a few minutes (3 min) from the beach. The room has enough space. The bathroom has the common standard on the island.

The lights in the room were not enough or did not give enough light.

Very fast welcome, no towells, limited breakfast, no generator to manage power cuts. Room with nearly no lights and bathroom not clean.

Wish there was a mini bar fridge in room, but the host let me use hers to store some cold drinks.

This place is lovely to stay at, we had a great experience. You are so close to the beach with bars and lots of surfers. The family are wonderful and see to your every need. They are happy to cook if you want and we found that all great. Tuk tuk van outside does food which is is very tasty and cheap. Highly recommend staying here.

Nothing at all

We absolutely loved our stay at the Villa Hiriketiya. Everything was perfect from A to Z, really close to the beach, rooms are big and clean and most of all, the family who runs the Villa is so nice and helpful. I definitely recommend the place.

The pool was dirty when we arrived but they managed to clean in very fast so that we could use it during our stay.

I stayed here for 1 night during a month backpacking trip as a luxury treat. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC worked well (much needed during the hot season) and the shower was powerful and HOT (a luxury in Sri Lanka). The family managing the property were super friendly and helpful.

The wifi was not good. I also could not get much data signal there so was largely unable to use my phone whilst there

Rooms were a little dark

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Hiriketiya. The location was brilliant, so close to the beach and walking distance to bars and restaurants. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much! Fresh flowers in the room was a lovely touch. The breakfast was lovely, we had a Sri Lankan breakfast one morning with egg curry, dhal and roti then an omelette the following day, both were fantastic. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Honestly nothing!

Room was spacious (bigger than appears in the photo) with high ceilings. Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The pool was a great place to hang out.

If you're a light sleeper would recommend earplugs - the property is right by a road which is quite quiet but tuktuks are loud...

It is a very nice accommodation. The pool is very nice and clean. We had the best Sri Lankan breakfast on our trip. The family who also lives on the property and cares about it is very very nice! we totally recommend!

The family who is taking care of the place and guests are absolutely amazing. Will visit here again soon!

Such a gorgeous property in the best location too!! You’ve got the calmness and quiet of a luxury villa but it’s literally just behind dots bay house which is a lot more vibey so you can walk over and enjoy that too! The room is BEAUTIFUL with all of the facilities you need - hot shower, big comfortable beds, air con and even a big sofa you can relax on after a day at the beach. The property is managed by a family - the mother Mali and her husband, and two beautiful daughters Lakshani and Neesha. They are the most kind warm and welcoming people who made us feel so at home from the very beginning. It was Mali’s birthday so they shared her birthday cake with us which was so lovely! Mali, Lakshani and Neesha really make the property what it is - they should be celebrated as they are extremely hard working and so kind! Thank you for a wonderful stay, see you again soon Megan and Phoebe

Staff were amazing , beautiful boutique hotel, beautiful garden, perfect location , 2 minutes walk to the beach . Highly recommend !

Great location 200 metres from the beach and good restaurants. Big comfortable room. Nice pool and the whole territory of the villa. Our host Amit was very friendly and ready to help.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Hiriketiya. The room was large, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. We enjoyed using the swimming pool which was always clean and well maintained. The host lives on-site, he is friendly and helpful, and able to answer any questions we had. The hotel is also within walking distance to the main beach where you can surf and eat at restaurants. We recommend staying here highly if in Hiriketiya.
