We expected small historical town with a few new apartments directly by the lake. The whole village Campione del Garda consists of new houses, kite shop, small supermarket and one bar without any historical centre. The only way how to get there is by car through the tunnel in the rock because all place is isolated. Our apartment was new but there were several deficiencies between reality and description here. Firstly we met with the owner who hadn't time for us. We complained that the view from apartment looks differently than in the pictures (from the one side on the rock and parking place under construction, on the other site on the opposite house. The owner doesn't want to solve it. He told us that we should call Booking hot line (which we did but they couldn't do anything about it) and resolve the situation with them. There should also be free parking card in the apartment which was not. Somebody brought it to our flat the next day but after our phone call. Also there was no dishwaher (as it should be there) and the dishes was dirty and there Is no wifi! At the end we spent there 2 nights instead of 3. Nobody will give us our money back because we paid by credit card via booking. They only return to us the money from city tax and cleaning.
