The room you advertised overlooked the courtyard and the one we were given was against a high wall. The air conditioning did not provide hot air.

It was a lovely room.. spotlessly clean and attractive. indeed, best location for seeing Marvão with great parking. We loved the breakfast!

Amazing location, located within the historic fortress-city of Marvão and yet easy to reach by car (it is located on the first square immediately after entering the city gates, with ample parking, so you don't have to navigate the narrow winding streets). The room has a beautiful panorama over the valley (looking northeast, across the Spanish border), as well as a stunning view of the castle from the balcony (looking northwest). The staff is very kind and attentive; even though it was very quiet at the hotel (it seemed I was the only guest), they still served me an extensive breakfast.

The balcony does not protrude from the building but is set inside the sloping roof, so if you sit down your view is somewhat blocked by the low walls - for the best view you should remain standing (however, you can still see the castle while sitting down).

Perched on the hill, the hotel has an old world feeling but is clean and uncluttered. staff were responsive and breakfast was great(except no Portuguese coffee). Parking was right at the hotel.

Narrow cobblestone street to get there was a bit of a challenge!

Beautiful property in an amazing location. Our room was lovely and traditional. Appreciated that we could park our car right in front, even though we were right in the center of town. Very nice all round.

It was not obvious that we should ride into the castle to get to the hotel parking.

Loved our stay in this quant hotel with amazing views

The hotel is lovely, filled with thoughtful details like port waiting in the room for an evening toast. The food in the restaurant is lovely. They even brought gluten free bread to my friend who had told them she couldn’t eat gluten but hadn’t asked for anything special. Manuel checked in with us to be sure we were happy throughout our stay. Lovely!
