Very modern and very clean

We were not informed the thermal spa suite was closed during our stay which was the main reason for choosing this resort. Also on 2 of our 4 night stay all restaurants were closed and only snacks available at the bar. This is not what you expect from a 5 star resort.

Very comfortable bed, spacious and spotlessly clean room and balcony. We had a very relaxing stay. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent, a real credit to the hotel.

Some areas of the service let the hotel down, small details are missing to make it a truly 5 star experience.

The building and the environment are beautiful, great golf course.

Some of the staff was very unfriendly, verging on being rude. I was very surprised by the service, it was sub par. The staff makes it very unpleasant to stay in the facilities.

The actual hotel facilities. The spacious, modern bedroom with wet room. (Bath and separate wet room shower) The modern hotel decor. The Spa facilities and all the outside sports facilities. (two football pitches, and two international teams staying, and making use of the Hotel training facilities. Oh, and two electric car chargers made available to the hotel guests. Brilliant!

Their 'reduced Winter' dinner menu! Not in the restaurant but in the Bar. Burger, Penne, Caesar Salad, and one other dish - I can't remember. No fish or no meat option. I thought it was pathetic for a 5-star hotel. I expected, at least, a buffet dinner to be available or a set Dinner Menu. Definitely, below my expectations.
