Liked the hotel’s location and room very much and I even extended one more night!

City center is only few hundred meters far from the hotel.

Parking can be problem if you come at late afternoon. Number of parking places are limited. Hotel is really used, dark corridors, old school room. We don't like this property.

The fuss about our backpacks and shoes (storage in separate room, but with early checkout we had to move them to the garage. shower head was loose and kept falling down.

Location excellent, staff very helpful.

Hotel a little tired. Electrical sockets need attention.

Structure feels old... Nothing too bad but definitely not the right amount of mantainance for a 150€/night room

Great hotel - no negatives

Loved the view from our balcony… enjoyed a lovely take away dinner there in comfort on our last night. Pool was fabulous , nice wooden decking , comfy loungers and got great shade in parts throughout the day. Pool was great depth for swimming as adults. Room was comfortable and spacious, and had great air conditioning. Staff were all so agreeable and friendly.

Breakfast was fine but not wonderful. Good pastries, ok fruit salad. What was great was the poolside location.

No complaints.

We met 3 different staff members on reception, each one was very friendly and helpful. The pool was a great bonus, particulalry as we had just finished the 14 day GR20 hike.

I cant think of anything negative, some of the fittings (swithches, the klift) are old fashioned and worn but work fine

The hotel is in a great location close to the centre of Porto Vecchio

Room smelled damp on arrival. The car park was closed for exiting between 4am and 8am and we needed to leave at 6am to catch a plane. We asked the hotel team about how to get out and the answer was ‘this is not possible as mentioned in the lift’ Eventually however they did find an solution for us

There was very quite in the hotel.We were travelling with kids,stayed for one night.The room was cosy with a nice view.The furniture a bit old fashioned,but ok.For a couple of nights its good.

Was a bit cold in the building.But overall everything was fine.

Very expensive for this conditions. Unfriendly staff at the reception. You dont feel Like a guest you feel like just a customer.

Lights are out in the hallways to save energy, but it was always dark which was a little odd.

the swimming pool and the location

As we were friends travelling after a business trip, we had chosen this hotel specifically as they had a room available with separate beds. Also after the booking of a room with separate beds, we have requested by mail separate beds -as this was really important to us (especially due to Covid 19)- and a quite room. We received an answer stating that they "will do their utmost best". When we arrived at our room (located next to the breakfast room and swimming pool entrance with thin walls), we saw that we had a twin bed. Presuming that there was a misunderstanding, we went back to the reception. The receptionist confirmed that she had seen our mail, but that they had no other rooms available and that they had no obligation at all to fulfill our request the more as we had chosen for the room with a view on the swimming pool which was the "cheap" option (maybe some people just prefer rooms not located at the street side even if this slightly more expensive room would have a view on the seaside...). We requested for another solution or a refund as we would have liked to be warned upfront (the more this covid19 period and as we had made very clear that we wanted separate beds) but this was simply blocked by a rather impolite receptionist. Even if this was the only room left, we should have been informed upfront, at least could have been offered an alternative or a sincere apology. The rest of the staff was friendly so perhaps the receptionist just had a bad day or we just had bad luck. The room itself was noisy, outdated but doable.
