Where to begin!? We arrived in india after spending 2 weeks hiking in the Himalayas completing Everest Base Camp. It’s safe to say that we were desperate for some luxury in our lives! As soon as we arrived at the Oberoi, we were made to feel like the most special people on the planet. We were warmly welcomed by Ishika who checked us in and showed us our room. We were instantly blown away by the beautiful decor and the friendliness and professionalism of all staff members. In the afternoon, we enjoyed some time in the beautiful pool. Before we even sat down, the butlers had placed 2 fresh towels on our lounger and given us a cool box full of ice water. Next we went to our room, which was exceptional. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the Taj. We were showered with small gifts, butler service and any help we could possibly think of. We could even pick our favourite kind of pillow from the pillow menu! Whilst we were at the Indian cuisine restaurant (which was out of this world) the butler team ‘turned down’ our room and got it all cosy for our sleep. We had local and live entertainment as the sunset and whilst we ate dinner. Never in our lives did we think that we would be the kind of people who spend S$500 a night on a hotel but the Oberoi is an experience like no other. This is the best value for money we have ever spent and we are already planning our next stay at another Oberoi hotel. If you are thinking of visiting the Taj Mahal, there is no question that you should book this hotel. It has been one of the most fabulous days of our lives. Thank you so much!

Upon arriving at the hotel, the woman who received my wife, my daughter, and I necessarily asked for a visa. As a diplomat recently arrived in India, my visa is being processed, but that does not prevent me from visiting her country. It was a very unpleasant gesture and embarrassing for our family, they should better prepare their staff to know those particular details in attention to diplomatic personnel.

The staff was so kind, most beautiful pool and garden we have ever seen.

Amazing view of the Taj Mahal. In the evening, a dance show with the Taj Mahal in the background. You can get to Taj from the hotel by buggy, it's worth using because the complex is large. Indian food was very good. A nice surprise from the hotel at the end we got a marmut elephant.

I have stayed in Shangri La, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, Le meridian, Hilton, Sheraton and this hotel makes all of them look like Premier Inns. It is THE best hotel I’ve been to. Staff are exceptional from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. Great Views in a great location. Food was fantastic and worth every Rupee. Restaurant staff had an extensive knowledge of the menu and gave great suggestions. Pool staff were really good particularly Harsh. The manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you for a great stay and I’m sure I’ll be back.

A dream come true. The hotel's service is impeccable. It has two restaurants, one Indian and one international. The food in the indu restaurant is exceptional as well as the service. A place to enjoy in all its senses.
