Everything - the rooms, the breakfast, the staff and the location
La Casita (the bar around the pool) closed early in the evening and didn’t have the same choice of food as when we stayed last year The singer on Saturday night was very good but didn’t attract too many people as La Casita really needed to be open and serve drinks rather than have to go to the restaurant to get served.

Location was great for us as we were hiking the GR 92. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was adequate.
The AC wasn’t working and it was hard to sleep because the room was stuffy. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly.

Excellent property, room in a very beautiful,
central location. Special thanks to the hotel staff for organising a beautiful birthday surprise for my partner. Everything was very well decorated in the room and better than the way we expected. I 100% Recommend this hotel! :)

Proximity to the pretty beach and excellent parking. The reception were all very nice and very helpful.
NB there are NO lifts in the old part of the hotel.
The dining room was deadly dull and unappetising menu. The hotel switches on exterior lights on every balcony which you cannot turn off and they are burning all night until 5.30 am. This is not necessary. A waste of energy, light pollution which is annoying for sleping and not ecological.

Pool used by lots of people from outside hotel especially on their way back from beach so residents couldn’t get sunbed and or enjoy pool.water looked not clean. Air conditioning packed up for week, you would think a big hotel chain could sort it out somewhat quicker… was given a portable one after asking 3 times. however noise from that also made sleep hopeless. Not great when you go on holiday to relax.Booked through hotel airport private transfer 150 euros you share a small minivan with other guests and no legroom not quite a private transfer on return. You have to keep asking for things to be refilled at breakfast despite staff milling around. Perish the thought they thought to check everything was ok. I never have had to leave such a poor review before but simply it’s not up to scratch by a long way. Avoid.

Overall it was pleasant. The staff were very nice. The AC was not cool enough, despite various calls to reception nothing happened. The room was uncomfortably warm despite the AC control at max, We asked for someone to come to the room but nothing happened. The big issue was breakfast. It was chaotic and a free for all. No social distancing and no supervision. Staff didn't wear gloves and handled everything. We raised the issue with someone who seemed in charge but he was uninterested or untrained and just thanked us for informing him. The breakfast was a buffet and there were tongs to use but everyone shared them. There was an egg station which meant cooking your own eggs. I have never seen such a thing and even children were allowed to cook their eggs. Pandemic or not this was simply dangerous and slowed everything down. There was plenty of room and the whole thing could've been spaced out, in our opinion it was a breeding ground for infection.
