The location and staff
Definitely needed a extra blanket and there was a leak coming from unknown door (another room). Family above my room was quite loud and echoing below in mine at night time

The location and price point
I initially booked a room that had a sofa bed, I was given a room that didn’t have that, and upon sharing that with the person at the desk he was quick the offer us another room that did have this - however without any bed sheets, pillows or blankets, and then when that was brought to his attention he offered to get them for us to make up. The sofa bed also had crumbs all over it, which didn’t feel too sanitary to sleep on even if we did make it up. The second room had a broken door lock, and as two girls staying in a hotel room by themselves, this isn’t acceptable

I initially booked for 3 people, then changed to 2 people more than a month before the stay.
I was still charged for 3 people.
I had free cancellation until 18 May but the money was deducted on 17 May.

I had a problem with my bag and the person at the reception was super helpful, nice and emphatic. I would recommend and I’ll come back with my son. He did everything to help and I really appreciate that.

Cumberland Motor Inn made it possible for me to check in earlier which was very helpful. The staff was very friendly. The room very spacious and clean.

Good location for the Hunter Valley concerts. Rover Bus picks up right out front, close to town for cafes and shops and great pub next door for meals

Excellent location, easy check in. Good value for money.
Rooms are quite bright with carpark lights at night. Very basic facilities.

Clean comfortable room. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities for guests include reasonable sized pool and BBQ area at rear of parking area.
Rooms a little dated, decor wise. But everything works as it should. Plumbing a little noisy as you could hear toilet in other room flushing
Rooms contain ceiling fan and a/c. Accessibility to upper floor may be an issue as I think there were only stairs.
For price, it suited our needs.
On the particular weekend we stayed, pub parking lot next door was noisy with people leaving at 1 AM, also could hear lots of hooning in main street, but Im a light sleeper, so this may not bother everyone.
Otherwise close to shops and main street.
Pub next door does decent food.

The pool is Absolutely amazing.
The grounds are beautiful.
All staff were very friendly.
The beds are very uncomfortable, and made me ache all over.

rooms very old and dated. there was a hole in the exhaust fan in the bathroom that you could see daylight through. curtain rod bent and curtains sagging allowing light in room. the service door off bathroom to allow access to toilet cistern etc was filthy with cockroaches
